How did your midget do today coaching?

Our first year coach got blown the frick out in his first road game by a team that made the NCAA tourney last season.

Your second year coach is about to suffer a double digit (or close 9 as I type) loss at home to a team that went 16-18 last year.

How about we just jump straight to Women's softball so we can both be happy.

You're making this worse on yourself. Football is almost over. Avery is going to get run out by Pearl. Colorado was a different team in the first few games last year. They had a meltdown. And when was the last time Bama had a shooting performance like that? 19(doesn't exist)?

This is just a textbook example of why other SEC fans need to stfu up about Johnny Jones, for now at least. He's steadily improved the program each season, and he technically has done a better job than Mike Anderson through 3 seasons. This is the first year LSU has actually had depth, so now is the time to make assumptions on Jones.

Meh, we'll see. Maybe this year (though maybe not), but I doubt it going forward. Will be two programs with best combined talent since the 1980's.

How do you say that? I must admit he has a better record then I thought we I looked it up but I don't understand how you can say that.

I'm actually pleased. They beat the crap out of us last year. This year we looked like a much, much better team. We just got cold in the second half and they got hot. Officiating certainly didn't do us any favors towards the end but that's just how things are going to be for now until the players adjust to the new rules.

His win total is higher and we made the NCAA tournament in year 3, while Arkansas didn't. The "X coach walked into a bigger mess" argument is a total croc. Trent Johnson left LSU a dumpster fire

His recruiting > His coaching

I mean, Auburn is 1-1 through 2 home games and predicted to finish 10th in the SEC. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves here. Auburn "has" basketball if "having" basketball means going to the NIT and finishing around .500 in the league. Better than what we will do probably, but it isn't exactly something to beat your chest over.

Avery will not recruit to Pearl's caliber, and Pearl is a proven college winner. One 5-star signee isn't going to rock the boat when Pearl already has more.

Yea, he already has one of the 10 best kids in the 2016 class committed and is heavily involved with roughly 5 others in 2016 and 2017 that are ranked in the top 20.

LOL, alright. Sounds good. You are right, clearly just a one time total luck thing. I'm sure he won't be able to sign anymore of them.

Mike Anderson has been at arkansas for 4 seasons. You're counting his last 3 seasons. This will be Johnny Jones' 4th season and will no doubt get more than 68 wins total.

eta: Counting their first 3 seasons Jones has more wins, an NCAA tournament birth, on extra post-season appearance, and more head-to-head wins.
