Auburn would owe him 20 something million if they fire him in December. Ain’t happening this year my friend. That’s a lot of money and that just to get rid of him. Then you gotta go hire another coach and staff.

Absolutely nothing happens to him. We are in a pandemic and he is protected by a costly contract.

I have to hope that most people aren’t stupid enough to think we are sitting on money, pouncing on the opportunity to fire him. If so, Auburn would have in 2015 or 2017. We were already cutting the budget before the pandemic and loss of most football revenue.

His buyout is way larger than Muschamp's, but Auburn will easily pay it because unlike us they care about winning football games. They beat Bama last year but still want to fire their coach, we went 4-8.

Same thing that will happen if he wins, he will be fired after next season.
Next year gets us to $28 million in salary. So we would only owe an $8 million dollar buyout.
