I know I give you Aubarn fans alot of shite- but I'm not mad at you in all of this.
It's Cecil Newton that is the piece of shite. If he had stayed the frick out of it, Cam would have played for State and we would be 9-1 right now (we would have lost to either LSU or Bama)...and Aubarn wouldnt be in this mess.
But since you did pay up and take this piece of shite on board, then you have to take the punishment for the crime.

It will come out in time man. The old adage there there is smoke, there is fire, is so true.
Too many "people in the know" have called this thing to the T.

The death penalty wont ever happen again but I'd like all scholarships be taken away and make it a walk on team only for two years. Bowl ban obviously. I don't want a TV ban because it affects other schools too and id love to watch a bunch of white rednecks who couldn't get in at Bama run around chasing D1 players. All known parties should be put in jail though.

McGregor was indicted a while back. The only link, hoepfully, between McGregor and Cam/Cecil is that people who assume AU paid for Cam are looking to the most logical source if any such payment happened. It is not suprising his name has surfaced. If you thought, or at least wanted to put out a believable scenario that an AU booster paid a player, Milton McGregor is the logical name to float. He is dirty and wealthy enough to do it without blinking.

That W&L dude, tuck's alleged source, and of course NIH all have similar stories.
I'm not giving up all hope but my expectations have once again changed.

If they are capable of bribing legislators how much of a stretch is it to believe that they would buy players?

Like i said, seeing is believing for me..
Just damn hard for me to believe AU would even let him see the field if they knew anything about this....

The NCAA has already said they will never do that to a program again.

Milton McGregor makes Scrushy look like Mother Teresa, my heart literally sank when I saw that the FBI was investigating McGregor. For the first time in all of this I really think Pat Dye, Lowder and McGregor might get us the death penalty.
Its time for the rest of you guys to make a drink.
I agree with what you say about McGregor but I think it would be very unfair for the NCAA or anybody else to take this out on Auburn.
If what they are saying is really going on then it is out of Auburns control and they are not to blame in my opinion.
If people this wealthy have taken over a state university then that is not the university's fault. I say you bury the bastards and allow Auburn to move on with a new administration.

If Cam was paid by a booster it doesn't matter if AU knew anything about this.

Look on the bright side, McGregor likely has no connection to the Cam Newton recruitment.
