Fantastic. You get mad at a drunken douchebag and quit on Alabama because he was a fan. I guess if he had been flaunting his heterosexuality you'd be gay now, right?
The guy was in middle school at the time. There's a lot of reasons that kids follow teams that might seem strange years down the road. My mom and dad hated the Dallas Cowboys and Jimmie Johnson with a passion when I was growing up. Guess who I started to root for just out of spite? Twenty years later, guess who I'm still cursed to be rooting for?

They're some pricks out there. I've been lucky to have never had a bad experience like that anywhere I've been, while wearing Bama gear. Just no need for folks to act a heathern and get like that. Some good natured ribbing is one thing, but there's a time and a place for everything.
Amen.

Although it was my car that got keyed and the tires slashed...not the UT car that was parked next to mine. The kicker?? I was at the game, in the student section, wearing red and cheering for Alabama
Have you ever considered that God was punishing you for cheering for bama? Seems pretty clear to me.

Sounds like BamaInHsv feels threatened by out-and-proud heterosexuals.

I don't know, but when I asked him to sign the petition in favor of legalizing heterosexual marriage, he refused.

Most of my closest friends are Auburn fans so when it comes right down to it I don't have THAT big of a problem with them. The stuff that does irritate the living s### out of me about a lot of Auburn fans though is the self righteousness that many wear on their sleeves. The high school I attended was a predominate Auburn attending school and I use to be amazed at the naivety among the Auburn parents. It was assumed by those parents that many of the kids attending Alabama were all involved in illicit drugs and that that kind of behavior simply didn't happen at Auburn. Some of biggest dope smoking cokeheads I knew from high school went to Auburn. I also never understood this idea that Auburn was supposedly so much more difficult academically than Alabama. I love em to death and would do almost anything for them but let's just say that a couple of my very closest Auburn friends weren't very good students at all and they breezed through.
My biggest problem with Auburn fans is that they somehow think they're different than Alabama fans or other SEC fans in general because of the cultish love of the Auburn Creed and such things. I just think they take themselves way too seriously compared to other SEC fanbases.
