Bingo, and THAT is sickening. How many college football programs have their coaches pray with their recruits?

You want me to believe that it's genuine? If I walked up to Troopah Taylah, and asked him to pray for me, do you think he'd find the time to take me to Jordan Hare and kneel with me?

I fricking doubt it.

Coaches pray with players after football games all the time. I can't think of any other coaching staff that prays with recruits during visits. And I have a very hard time believing that they're doing it because they are just down right "holier" than the rest of the college football world.

You're right wearing your hat backwwards and getting people excited is so anti-God. Trooper is going straight to hell.

From what I've heard about Trooper and his dad and his faith... this might be legit, bro.

The bammer posts on here have been entertaining lately.

Yesterday, CrimsonTusk reported through his "sources" that Lemonier was leaving Auburn. Fail.

Today, we have this thread stating that Auburn coaches are "sickening" for praying as a team.

Who knows? it is Auburn the prayer might have been to the devil. Hell, Cam and Chiz prob sold their souls before the season.

Was it a gimmick when we methodically stole your manhood on your homefield and there was nothing your 6 million dollar man or 100k derelict fans could do about it? Maybe saban should have prayed a little more for some help in figuring out the Gus Bus.

Not once did I say that or even suggest that. Coaches pray with their TEAMS all the time. They do not, however, pray with their recruits.

At least I can not think of a single instance where this has been reported.

You want me to believe this was something other than a recruiting trick pulled out of Ol' Troopah's bag?

I just have a really hard time believing that Trooper is praying with his recruits out of the goodness of his heart, without any other motive in mind.

Wow, praying is sickening to you? I'm so sorry.

Using God and the sacred act of prayer as a recruiting tool. Yes, your damn right it is sickening.

But repeatedly lying on national tv and being a complete jerk to practically everyone you meet is the stuff of a stand up guy.

14-0 has really gotten to you guys.

Our team prays like this on a regular basis. If you believe they went out of their way to pray just to put on a show for the recruits, you're delusional and need to stick to ATPB.

I would be very careful of questioning anyone's Christian faith. I see nothing wrong with the coaches leading players in prayer. Auburn has a Christian leader in Coach Chizik and I am proud he is our coach.

Would not trade him for Satan and all the wins we might get. When God be a blessin, the Devil be a messin...

Bama fans are the only fan base that really gives a shite about this. Always bringing up the topic. Get over it, you guys run the fricking state anyways. Let them sell God, and you guys sell winning, tradition, and your brand. frick, stop whining about it!

"My highlight was Saturday night, going in the locker room and walking on the field," Swain said. "We stood in a circle around the 'AU' at the middle of the field. I just felt like this is where I need to be." Then, Swain said, Auburn receivers coach Trooper Taylor paid the recruits, a moment Swain will never forget. "It was, how should I say, a great financial experience," said Swain. "It was crazy. I felt blessed to be there."

Bull shite. When Chizik bombs out after Malzahn and Cam leave him at the alter, you would want Saban in a heart beat.
