I really wanted Deion last year. But I’m glad things worked out the way they did.

If Deion is semi successful. I’d love to see Vandy take a run at him. They could use his celebrity there. But Vandy might flip shite if he cuts the girl kicker.

I was kinda expecting Deion to kill it in recruiting, and it’s been the exact opposite. Was very surprised. I guess he’s one of those “build using the portal” guys.
It's his first recruiting season and it's Colorado. Little too early to judge on that front.

We hired Dana Altman, he did the Hog Call awkwardly at the press conference the next day, then promptly resigned.
Deion would’ve never done the Hog Call, lol.

Sanders is only coaching for his son to have a place to play power 5
Once he moves on Deion will quit coaching

Rev Freeze is the Auburn Man

Hey Stump the question was for Auburn fans.

That culture isn’t really a thing anymore with players coming in and out
I think it still exists.
I mean great players still need an attitude of “sometimes my role is to help the team” rather than always “help myself.”
Football has to have probably 50 competent players ready to step on the field and compete.
Most teams do not have 50 first rounders ready to roll. Maybe Bama, Georgia, and Ohio St could roll with the “don’t matter about culture”, but even talented players need to do the small things to help the team.

No way should AU have hired Deion. Too big of a job for someone who is relatively unproven on this stage. I think Freeze is a home run for AU. That being said I would have liked to see Deion hired at Georgia Tech with his connections in ATL and less expectations.

Prime has his work cut out for sure. Colorado has a tough schedule with no real gimmes.
OOC is TCU, Nebraska, and Colorado State. Then 9 PAC games

Hugh Freeze doesn't care about culture either.

Yes. I have really started to somewhat dislike him as of late. First it was his speech to his team about his “luggage”. I thought that was cringe as hell.
And over the months it has grown more apparent how “me” oriented he is. Sure, if he wins games it won’t matter. But he has started to annoy me.

Deion would not have been a great fit for Auburn. I think he can recruit and maybe bring in some good coaches. Just not sure he would mesh with Auburn.

His ego has always been very apparent. I think it doesn't fit well with coaching at this level. He want's to be the story rather than the team.
