Move to a nine game schedule already. I'm in agreement with Saban. Fewer shite opponents, more sec games. Other conferences do it and it'll happen eventually

Finally. Mizzou makes so much more sense in the West. I am pumped. I think this will help with some of the "Mizzou is a bad fit for the SEC" complaints.

"It makes more sense for Auburn from the demographics of our students," Jacobs said of flipping Auburn to the East. "Six to eight years ago, I looked at our demographics and most all of our students come from Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky.

& where your students are from has WHAT to do with which division you're in? Your school is STILL LOCATED IN ALABAMA!!!

Although it would make zero sense I would prefer Kentucky in the west over Missouri. Would make for great away games going to Orlando one year and Lexington the next year

and have two permanent opponents? frick that. if aubie wants to move to the east, it needs to accept that it will probably lose its game with alabama

Somehow it goes over everybody's head that our schedule would be tougher if we got the scenario we wanted

No doubt it would be. They'd have Bama,Tenn,Florida,UGA,a power 5 ooc team,a random sec west team which could be strong, and probably LSU or Bama again in the sec championship if they'd make it.

So about 10-15 years till that's no longer true?

Auburn should be in the East. Our traditional rivals are TN, FL, and GA. It's better and shorter road trips for our students and fan base. I hope JJ can pull it off.

"Auburn, trying to get out of Bama's shadow since 1992".

Y'all can try and spin it anyway you want. But it all boils down to Bama.

Um, how 'bout LSU and the big elephant in the room? And Tennefrickingsee is more of a traditional rival than the afore-mentioned?!?!

I'm gonna laugh now.
