Our pass protection has actually been pretty solid. Not giving up a lot of sacks and Trask has had some time in the pocket. Trask is also a bit quicker on the gun than Franks, which has given UF it's most stout passing attack literally since Tebow. While we're not giving up many sacks – Trask's game time inexperience has led to the few sacks that are on him to be pretty signficant [so there's that].

Our run-blocking on the other hand, is crap.

The reality is: I don't know what kind of team UF has. Zuniga and Henderson, literally two of the best players on our defense have been out for multiple games. They're not just "pretty good players," They're actual x-factors.

We've also only seen a little bit of Trask, and Mullen's playcalling for the first 4-5 games, if last year is indication, are vanilla and he tends to open up the playbook as we get into these bigger games.

Big test for both teams. Honestly think it could go either way.

Maybe, but A&M has, what, 10,000+ more people? And our QB’s first game was in JerryWorld so I think it may be being overblown. Could be wrong.

The idiot who doesn't know who the best qb on his own team is? UF is undefeated only because Franks got hurt.

The crowd could be the X factor here...AU will not have played in an environment like the Swamp so far and this'll be a new experience for all of those players. Trust me, Notre Dame can tell you just how much a raucous crowd can do to you on the field---it was national newsworthy---and I'm thinking Florida's crowd is going to try and take a cue from our game against ND and do as much as they can to make it difficult on Auburn's O. It could be very troublesome for the Tigers.

Man, the east sucks so bad that UGA posters are more interested in the AU/FL game then their own game Saturday. Must be nice!

I'd say Grier in 2015 was our most stout since Tebow in terms of best QB. I don't think Trask is as good as Grier, but his WR and TE group are better. 2015 had a better offensive line and run game, but worse offensive coaching staff. Our staff overall is the best we have had offensively since Mullen left I think most would agree to that.

We shall see what happens.

I'll say it over and over, the most important quarter for UF is the first. UF can not let Auburn get off to a quick start like the Aggies and Miss State did that becomes so bad we have to play in a deep whole. We have struggled early in games multiple times on our win streak.

I fully expect Auburn to score first and do damage early, just limit that damage and we are okay. I'd say we go into half losing most likely. The hope is that early set back is not so bad, we can't overcome it.

If it's 14-10, 14-6 type game at half...I like our chances. Mullen has been damn good at adjusting during the break.

Of course the Gators have a shot. A turnover here and good special team play there. Gator defense is good enough IMO. Going to be an epic game can’t wait.

Florida has been a dominant second half team the last 9 or so games. If it’s close at half I like UFs chances. That’s the trick though isn’t it I’m sure msu said the same thing.

Technically, sure, but I kind of discount Grier because while he was here – I think he had one really solid outing, and he just wasn't here long enough to really call him a Gator.

Athletically, he's more gifted than Kyle – but Trask is performing pretty exceptionally given he hasn't started games in like 10 years. Trask throws pretty balls and has an accuracy than I'm not sure I saw from Grier.

Auburn is nasty in the trenches.

I said after the first two games that the offensive line is far from the best starting squad in the country but those frickers have motors and never seem to wear down. Third and Fourth quarters they are still moving kids around.

UF OL (no run game) and 3rd along with 3rd and Grantham will probably be major issues.

I'm more worried about Nix' running than his passing.

Hopefully it a good game .Seems like most of the confidence is with Auburn in this game . Auburn is up to a 3 point favorite. Seems like the number would be higher.

But anyway, that's cool. Nix was just named SEC Freshman of the week, and Mike Horton was just named SEC Offensive Lineman of the week

It's one thing to earn those honors against low-level competition...it's another to earn them against Power 5 Top 10 competition. Let's see how they do this week.

i dont see this being a high scoring game. At best, 24-14. Auburn is a TD better than Florida right now. Home field is big in this game too.

The new QB kid is nice and accurate. Hopefully we can get to him and get his timing off. I think this will be a very tight game. I dont see either team winning by a big margin or scoring a lot of points

Betters don't like teams in CFB having three "Big" opponents in a row. Assuming they can't keep the energy up for multiple weeks. So the bigger bettors are probably going to play Florida based on that superstition. I don't think it's necessarily true, but it is hard to do for sure in CFB. It's why it's easy for UCF to prep for one tough OOC game a year...but they have two P5 teams in a row and...oh look they lose.
