Alcohol wasn't involved. And we don't know the details yet anyway

wow, hard to imagine how such horrible injuries occurred from a hit from behind

My thoughts exactly. When I first heard about it I figured they were t-boned.

Bro stop! The Auburn fans and family are mourning this has nothing to do with the baseball team losing a game

No it's relevant because he may not have been in that situation if he was still covering Auburn was my point.

It’s not relevant because it happened. Instead of saying what if pray for healing and comfort.

Wondering if the kid clipped them and caused their vehicle to fishtail and flip

That's why I said I hated to bring it up. It's just weird to me how sports can even change people's lives. That gets to me.

Settle down a little. It’s obviously such a sad situation but to charge a 16 year old with murder for this would be a sad thing in itself.

Idk what he posted since he deleted it, but bc I don't want anybody going lynch mob on a 16 yo I think it's important to note that it's been reported alcohol was NOT a factor

Alcohol was not a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation by the Lee County Coroner’s Office and the Auburn Police Division, Harris said.

I remember when he took over for Fyffe (who was incredible). I told my buddy,"he has a tough job winning over the fan base, having to follow Fyffe, but if he can, he'll have that job for the next 40 years". I pray that he can pull through this.

The worst part of this is when he gets through this, he still won't have his wife and that makes me super sad.

I have full confidence in his recovery and Auburn and the SEC and us will be excited to see him back for football in the fall

I had a friend die because of texting and driving. It's a serious issue rn and people need to stop getting distracted. I know it's hard but it's dangerous and not worth it

He’s the voice we hear behind all of those Auburn miracles

Obviously I'm not familiar with Auburn radio but even I can still remember his voice on the kick 6 "Auburn's gonna win the football game, Auburn's gonna win the football game!" Prayers for Rod and his family.

If they were hit from behind and it caused so much force to kill a person and critically injure another and alcohol wasn’t involved it’ll probably turn out to be texting/phone related which is just as dangerous if not more so

I know personally I would lose the will to live if I were in that situation. But then again we don’t have any children. Hopefully his resolve is stronger than mine.
