So if the Auburn fans can back away from the fact that I think Chizik is a joke, does Scot Loeffler run a similar system to Gus? I can't say that I've watched a whole lot of Temple football.

You have this thread on lock with your infinite wisdom and football knowledge. I have to compensate by being funnier than you.

Auburn will be a better team next year theres no doubting that, but LSU and Bama will both have very good teams. Auburns record will be similar to last year with a couple (Utah State for example) lucky wins but I think 2013 Auburn will be showing the improvement if BVG is as cracked up as he seems to be.

How will they for sure be better? Their offense dropped 97 spots without ole Cammy and they now lose their best runnig back and cordinator. Toss in the fact the Gene Cheesestick is the head coach, you have a recipe for mediocrity.

He was just being kind......chizik will be on the hotseat in 2013. Old pat thinks they have major issues and he will tell you that even when he is sober. He likes to talk a lot down on the farm and say things he shouldnt, its pretty funny.

I think he runs some spread, but is more multiple/pro style than Gus. There will be more pistol, I and split back sets, as well as more of a pro-style shotgun spread offense.

Scott Loeffler is single-handedly responsible for Tom Brady being who he is.

Also, the subtraction of Ted Roof is a huge improvement multiplied by the addition of the stache.

No problem, and please keep Cheesestick your head coach out of appreciation for the title Cammy won. I can get use to these yearly 40 point beatings.

If your question is serious, here is the answer. Everyone was so shocked that Auburn would hire a coach with such a devastatingly terrible résumé that the hire was a joke. Subsequently, we found out that if Chizik is given the best offensive player in the history of college football, he can win a title. What we also think we know is that without Cam, he can't win big at AU or anywhere. It is also pretty ridiculous that he is a defensive guy, but couldn't field one worth a crap in his time as head coach at AU.

All of those factors lead to everyone making fun of him and his huge logo wind shirt.

Well said.

New coaches can do wonders for a team. The first year often shows great improvement, but the depth isn't there. I know LSU struggled to stop Bama's power rushing attack in the chief's first year because were too light up front. Once coaches get their types of guys, if the scheme is right, it can really take off. Sometimes there is that Franklin hire, though where a team loses patience. All eyes will be on the staff additions for sure.

Depth isn't too bad except at LB. We still lack experience everywhere except the d-line.

We arent there as far as depth when you get down past the second levels, but we have the people to fill the needs of the new cordinators, less so on the D side of the ball

Maybe you should just stick to your old posting style. I didn't think it could get worse, but I was wrong.
