This is BS. AU had a really good O, but LSU had arguably the best D in the country. LSU and its fans were chirping about how Cam couldn't do his thing against the LSU D. Also, Au had an opportunistic D, but it wasn't a shut down D by any stretch of the imagination. This is pure revisionist history.

Was going to be the first real D, Cam wasnt going to do shite, etc... etc.... there was no conceding prior to that game

Les chose to punt on 4th and long. The punter happened to have an unbelievable day. I just can't start giving Les much credit for this.

Especially in the 2nd half, they didnt move shite. punting was their only hope.

This and the comment about not giving up the big plays bullshite. All they did was not give up TD's, there were 10+ yard plays everywhere

DS if you are going to bring it,dont make up shite. Do you even remember Les's press conference after the game? ask him what's his opinion of his caching.

I got to say you are way off my brethren. If I remember this game correctly, I was yelling at miles through the tv all day for not stacking the box and forcing them to throw. They ran it down our throats all day. If we stacked the box and forced them to throw who knows, but miles doesn't get the nod for a stroke of genius in this one. This is one example of hundreds that miles has f'd up. The latest being his refusal to let lee or mettenburger in the bcs game. When the national championship is on the line, you have to try everything. Throw the kitchen sink at them. I wouldn't have cared if ware or sheppard took snaps at qb in that game. Anything was better than what we witnessed.

I'm not talking about what people were saying, I'm talking about what the actual reality was

Auburn was a much better team than us (and everyone else) that year. The only reason we kept it close was because our coaches did a great job putting our players in the best possible position to be successful.

So Auburn has been reduced to recapping a game played 2 years ago in which a "special" player was the differnce. Next year we can do this again only it will be a recap from 3 years previous.

Book it now....Chizit "outcoaches Les again" to a 3 TD loss.

We never at any point in that game ran any hurry up no huddle and barely threw the ball. That gameplan was all Chizik.

No, an LSU fan made a ridiculous claim about that game and thus the facts have been recounted as a retort.

Have we already talked about how Auburn always has a close first half with all their damn trick plays, but then runs out of idea in the second half to lose the game?

Late to the party here.

Not yet. We are currently debating the claim by DS that Les out coached Chizik in the 2010 game.

Maybe this is just my personal opinion, but how can you out coach someone you lost too?

Les didn't out coach anyone that day, because their was no coaching done on either side. Auby played their famous," here is the ball Cam go win us the game", and LSU did't stop it.

In a nutshell he claims that he remembers being impressed by Les when he watched the game and the fact that the score was much closer than the stats reflect it should have been.

I agree that the score was closer than it should have been, but primarily because your punter was lights out (5 punts, 53 yard average, 4 pinning AU deep). I also did conceded that Les had a great call with the half back pass.

Like I said, you're going to believe what you want to believe and I'm going to believe what i want to believe. There is really no point discussing it further as far as I'm concerned. I just put what I remember about that game out there just because I hadn't done it fully

If I were you, I'd be trying to end this conversation as well, as you are getting destroyed on the facts. If you were winning this argument in any way, shape or form, you would never be trying to dance your way out of it.

You picked the wrong fight, and you got your arse kicked. Move on to another thread and live to fight another day.

Out of all the SEC teams we face this year AU is the very last one I worry about losing to. We ran over your arse last year and will do the same this year. I bet we could win that game by not throwing one single pass. Our FB made your LB's quit and they won't be forgetting that arse pounding anytime soon.

AU is falling behind Bama so quickly now it will take years to catch back up unless they find someone else as good as Cam pay to play. I don't see a win in the near future.
