"Chasing squirrels has become a right of passage for Auburn running backs trying to prove their speed"

"Tre Mason follows in Onterio McCalebb's footsteps, continuing Auburn's squirrel-chasing legacy "

"Mason has been chasing squirrels to test his speed since September when late Monday he tweeted: "Just caught my first squirrel."

"Onterio McCalebb famously caught a squirrel on a recruiting trip to AU to prove his speed.

The squirrel made a fatal mistake when it came to attempting to outrun a AU runningback.

He went toward the sideline. No one in America can get there faster than an AU RB.

That's hilarious. Cool 'tradition' IMO.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but if that was a wild squirrel, he'd have multiple holes through his fingers. Those bastards bite and bite HARD.

Squirrels have no chance now that the trees are gone off the plains.

No worries, sources tell me it's the backside of a mobile home. The resident tweaker carpenters built a nice screened in porch for some spice.

His fingers are fast as hell too. Squirrel is frustrated that he can't get his gnaw on.
