There’s a whole Twitter profile created by someone for the sole purpose of making those allegations, complete with videos, screenshots of group messages, emails from Auburn’s Title IX department, still shots of his male teammates in the shower, etc.
That’s a bit more than a rumor.
Whether or not the allegations are factual is yet to be seen, but we know there is at the very least a Title IX investigation ongoing.

Honestly, the case against the girlfriend for posting revenge porn is easier to prove than any wrongdoing by Jarquez himself

Good question. What a can of worms.
Most states with revenge porn laws have a portion on intent. As in the person who recorded distributed it with the intent to harass or intimidate.
The act of filming someone in a sexual act without their consent (but wasn’t distributed with harmful intent) I believe gets foggy when you’re in a one-party consent state. That said, you may be able to argue it falls under criminal surveillance laws if the camera was “hidden” and you were in a situation where there is the expectation of privacy.

Has she? Can you link that tweet or screenshot it? I haven’t seen that. The only thing I’ve seen is an outright denial that the account is being run by an ex.
ETA: I see you posted it above. That is quite a conundrum.

Depends.
The Alabama revenge porn law is written with the expectation that the image was private as part of the law and has to be proved in court.
If he distributed to other people himself (like in a group message) it removes the expectation that it should be private.
