Ok. I am making my call (prediction) now.

I think Chris Todd wins the job. I think last year, he got the job done at times with very little arm strength, and by all accounts, he is 100% now. So, I think he is our best choice with some good game experience from last year and I think he will do well.

That is all.

Looks good from all accounts, IMHO he is the type of QB that Malzahn wants

LOL@catfish.

Kodi Burns was also the type that Malzhan wanted. He recuited him hard at Arkansas.

I'm thinking Chris Todd as well.
Wonder how Malzahn's offense would look?

Chris Todd will start. Kodi will go in during short yardage plays to pick up the first.

Is Malzahn spreah pass-happy like Mike Leaches or option spread like Oregon's?

Gus runs usually one more run play a game than pass play on avg. He is 50/50

The biggest, I'd say, is that Malzahn's spread is not exactly like other spreads, whether pass-first ones like the Airraid or run-heavy spreads like Urban Meyer's or Rich Rodriguez's. That's because the schemes are simple - very, very simple - and the core of the offense is not even about schemes: it's about tempo. . . .

Not like I have a mancrush on him or anything.

Todd just seems a better fit to me. From early accounts (and as evidenced by him being moved to the first group in the split squads after 1 day), he has the playbook down cold and his timing has looked better. Granted, this is just after a few days without pads, but that has kinda met what I expected anyway.

I am for whoever the coaches decide on and WILL NOT be one of the annoying people that calls for the back up if things do not go great. And as for Tyrick, I will be uncomfortable if he is the starter (very unlikely IMO), just because he is a true freshman - however talented he may be.

FWIW TodZilla almost beat LSU last year and threw for 250 yards with a bum shoulder

Yes he did, and I think Burns can still be a good QB.
