Yeah, but I'm not getting any straight answers whenever I ask about him to people...

Have you heard anything?

He's fine, from what I heard. Even if he's REALLY banged up, we won't need him against Utah St. anyways.

Maybe you're asking people who also have concussions?

It is frazer. It's been all along. If it wasn't trotter would have been given the job in spring Book if boys

What made me curious was when I was told "the staff wants to look at the new guys and see how they'll be able to contribute this season from the running back position"

Only one new RB can play this year...Coach Speak....fricking Coach Speak

As much as I wish this were true, it's most likely not. Malzahn loves competition at QB and the only way to make it more competitive would be to pin them all up and say they are all equal. Hope is a great motivator.

Well, this is true. Dyer is banged up but he should be fine for game 1. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Mason was out there, instead, though.

Doesn't sound like it:

quote:

Malzahn likes Frazier’s progress. “I know he’s more comfortable,” he said. “I don’t know if he’s completely comfortable. You could ask him. We’re throwing a lot at him. We ask our quarterbacks to do a lot before the play. Then they’ve got to react, seeing different looks. The more experience you get, the better, and we’ve given him more reps by design to see where he’s at.”
A natural gap still exists between the veterans and Frazier, however, simply because of his youth. “Even though he ran a similar offense in high school, it’s a different world,” Malzahn said.

Even from what I've heard, I wouldn't be surprised if all 3 QBs started a game at some point this season.

FWIW, I keep hearing Moseley from my limited contacts. The kid is good, a little slower than Trotter, but from everything I have heard, a hard damn worker. We'll see. I have faith in Malzahn picking the right one.

I've been saying this since shortly after fall practice started given what I had heard.

Same here. I have heard nothing but upside to him playing. Watched the kid in high school, granted it was 2A, but he looked like a man among boys.

It's a damn video interview. The fact that it is posted at ITAT is irrelevant.

Dismukes' dad was just on the radio and said he was named the starter at center today. Guarantee you he was not the only starter named today.
