It continually amazes me that LSU fans bring that incident up. It couldn’t have made their school, athletic department, football team or fan base look any worse. The Florida AD bent LSU over the back of the couch and got them to switch the dates of the game. LSU fans on here ran their mouths about how they were going to whip the Gatas asses. Fournette pulls a fake tough guy act before the game; posing like he was gonna administer some street justice before putting his skirt back on and resuming his collegiate retirement. Then the football team pulls a monumental choke job against a vastly inferior UF squad - in the vaunted Death Valley. Any other SEC fan base would realize how badly they look in the entire episode and would never speak of it again. You almost have to salute the complete lack of self-awareness most of the Rantards exhibit on here.

Explain. The game was played in Baton Rouge that year. And because that would be the second year in a row we would have to travel to Gainesville for the next two years to even it up.
