Both sides arguing their case. The players have an obvious argument that they will be harmed if deemed ineligible. However, the NCAA case for harm is extremely weak. In fact, can't really find an argument that supports their position.

This is ultimately about one last attempt to remain relevant as a governing body.

PS-Wait until the 5 for 5 ruling comes under scrutiny. It's not going to hold up either. In time there will be NO limit on eligibility other then proof of enrollment in school, not age or anything else.

Why is the player's case for HARM any better? Because they aren't ready to start their career off the football field?

You are a bitch. You don’t even know what this is all about. You think these are NFL veterans coming back to college. Had the courts ruling come out before the draft many of these players would not have left .

Now go parade around in your fake military costume . You stolen valor pussy

Sure thing, loser. Go back to your job serving fries at McDonald's. Break time is over.

Next season, the lawsuits will be filed to demand equal treatment as the players got this season, if it happens.

It's never ending if allowed to begin. Next year it will be all about this and that player and this and that team were allowed to bring in players that left college, tried out for the NFL and failed, and then came back to college, why can't we do it this year too?

It isn't fair. Precedence has been set, you can't treat us differently than you did them will be the theme.

Correct. This just lead football down the same path basketball took years ago. Basketball is so bad that foreigners were brought into Michigan to win a championship. Signing pro players is a requirement to compete effectively. That is what college football is headed towards

I don't even know what that means. And my comments are that basketball is an even larger mess than what Kiffin is trying to do to football. The good news is that football has enough publicity it "might" be able to fix some of these issues.

But I seriously doubt it. Especially after the bought and paid for BR judge grants yet another TRO

The SEC’s enforcement division would be harmed bigly if they are not allowed to enforce their own rules.

Keep showing your ignorance! Kiffin isn’t trying to do anything to football. The courts made the ruling . Kiffin is adhering to THEIR judgement. You should email your father arse coach to leave the buffet

Ignorance is a terrible thing. And excusing bad behavior just leads to entitlement

The kids losing their spot, after working all spring and summer camps, are being harmed the most.

It is clear that LSU is no longer a good fit for the SEC. They are harming the conference’s image and reputation. Clearly their fans aren’t happy in the SEC. It would be best for everyone to just make a clean break. I wish LSU the best in their future endeavors.

Just keep clutching your pearls. Or in your case your thunder beads . Stolen Valor which you do is far worse than anything ever discussed on this site.

Here's a thought. Make rules that (1) aren't arbitrary,. inconsistent, and reactionary, and (2) stand up in court.
