ETA: didn’t realize this was 35 pages :wow:
I’m referring to the deer through the bus window gif on page 1

As an Alabama fan, all this press coverage is unsettling.

oh, but wait. There has been no press coverage.

You must have snorted a huge bump this morning if you think this is going anywhere

This is my concern about the situation, and in my opinion, could be BAD for Alabama.

quote:

Alabama allowed a player receiving illegal benefits to play. But how were the people at Alabama unaware of what was happening?

Negligence.

To me that sounds like a textbook example of a lack of institutional control.

But your opinion doesn’t matter, William.

Your opinion on whether my opinion matters doesn't matter.

Whoa. Is this the 2nd time (or 3rd time?) Alabama has been mentioned in this trial? And both mentions are completely separate incidents, right?

Sanctions for both football and basketball seem all but guaranteed at this stage.

We've all become Alabama State fans.

They put out more 1st round NFL draft picks than Auburn.

Yeah the fit is about to hit the shan in Tuscaloosa.

After Arizona, Alabama has been the most talked about team in the trial. And as you mentioned, it's across multiple sports. Arizona is just basketball.

NCAA wants nothing to do with any of this. Wetzel sums it up.

Once again, not a single NCAA administrator, athletic director or conference commissioner (or staff) was in federal court Monday to watch and listen to the trial. If it was advertised as a bowl junket, courtroom would be packed. Complete frauds.

I don’t see why any would be there really though. I haven’t been there but I am very aware of Alabama’s cheating

The same reasoning is why I doubt the NCAA pushes to much about Will Wade.

The more this thread gets pulled, the more the concept of amateur athletics unravels -- and there is no way the NCAA wants to hurt its golden goose.

I am fine exposing their hypocrisy, tbh. Serious accusations? Well we need to throw the book at a school like Clarion University and then promptly move on.
