Keep an eye out for Mississippi State popping up in all of this as well....

quote:

Perry was a four-star recruit during his junior year, but he’s recently been bumped up to a five-star prospect. He is currently the No. 17 recruit in the nation according to ESPN. Last year, he committed to play college basketball in his home state, at the University of Arkansas.

“I’m blessed to be a five-star,” Perry said. “It’s one thing I’ve been working towards. I always gotta play hard because there’s always going to be a target on my back. I’ve got to continue to work.”

After attending the Pangos All-American camp in Los Angeles, Perry flew to Italy to take part in the Adidas Euro Camp earlier this month. He performed well alongside some more American talent against players from other countries. Perry was the leading rebounder in the camp with 8.5 boards per game and was second in points per game with 15.

He’s now set to attend another camp in the Los Angeles area, the Adidas Nations Training Camp, with some of the teammates he had in Italy.

“You have to create chemistry really fast since you don’t really play with them,” Perry said. We had NBA and college coaches helping us out.

We'll see; college basketball across the country is in flux. Perry's dad played at state-it's really not that implausible to land a legacy.

As far as the Adidas camps-Nike & UA have them as well. That's not exactly earth shattering news.

Just a coincidence I suppose, that he had been committed for so long to Arkansas with the other 5 players from his AAU team. Then all of a sudden out of the blue his dad becomes ill, Miss State enters the picture after a trip to Italy.

Arkansas is going to be fine...Im not worried about that...Its funny to me that most State fans actually think it was a clean deal. It doesn't take a Rocket Surgeon to figure it out.

quote:

Perry, who moved to Little Rock in the sixth grade and lived there until about three years ago, announced his decision on Twitter and said Arkansas was his equivalent to Kentucky, Kansas or Duke.
"Really when I say that, it’s because everyone has a dream of going to one of those schools," Perry said. "They all look at them being one of the best college teams and they have to go there. Basically, I’m just saying this is my place where I can be the most successful.”

quote:

Arkansas is also heavily recruiting two other 2018 Hawks - forward Ethan Henderson, 6-8, 190, of Little Rock Parkview, and guard Desi Sills, 6-1, 170, of Jonesboro.
Sills plans to visit the Hogs on Friday and could be the next Hawk to join the commitment list for the Razorbacks. Perry said the chance to play with his Hawks teammates in Fayetteville was also big to him.
"We’re just trying to do something special keeping it in the state and continue to play with each other," Perry said. "We’ve been playing with each other since the sixth grade. We just know each other. We know what to expect from each other."

Sounds to me like that AAU team needs looked at-I mean how many times are that many kids committed to one school? Mike Andersons' brother their AAU coach? Surely something is fishy for that many kids to be committed to one school.

See how speculation works?

It isn't speculative when facts back up a claim. Sorry.

Anyone with a brain knows State will likely be caught up in this.

The NCAA will call the FBI and leave a message like: "Hey, FBI, this is the NCAA. Could you please question them about the recruitment of said athletes and athletes not mentioned as well? We'd greatly appreciate it. Also, we'd like for you to let us use all of your useful information when you've completed you investigation. Thanks"

"Guys, I have fought some pretty big scandals and was able to beat them. I fricked a crazy chick in an off-brand Olive Garden and she tried to extort me, I had other assistants set up a backpage hooker operation for recruiting as well, but this seems to be a the final nail in my coffin. A cat gets nine lives, but this Italian ball coach only gets three."

State fans are also laughing at y'all's recruiting class. Our worst recruit is better than Arkansas's best.

Don't even think Saban could survive the scandals Pitino has been involved in. Honestly it is shocking he lasted this long

1- Extortion by his mistress scandal
2- "Not knowing about" escorts being hired for high school student recruits
3- "Not knowing about" paying players $100k + referred to in criminal complaint

REGGIE PERRY, WHO DECOMMITTED FROM ARKANSAS and committed to Mississippi State (Ben Howland - known cheater, and an adidas school) right after a trip to Europe and to the Bahamas WITH ADIDAS REPS. One of his parents had just lost their job right before those trips, too. Word is Reggie's 5* self got $150,000 for the Fam. NOW THAT IS KEEPING IT REAL!!
