A Pandora's box was opened.
And then closed. The loop hole was closed. If A&M is hanging all hopes on doing the "i didn't know" card then you're going to be disappointed.
You should hang all hopes on the "no proof of payment" card.

believe it or not, JFF's issues are 100% self-inflicted... I think even aggies can admit that.

Doesn't mean he was aware of the exact agreement. He can still play the "I did not know this" card.
how can he play the "I don't know" role when he completed the agreement by signing "thousands" of items in a hotel room for one person? wont work

My guess is that the "royalty" of college football are a little upset at all the press A&M has been getting, and will do whatever to take them down a peg or two.
How dare A&M be better than UT. How dare they beat Alabama. That JFF guy is a menace and needs to be taken care of. Hell, the team is already dealing with the death of Polo, and now this.
That's a lovely tinfoil hat you're wearing.
I did have one conspiratorial thought though--did Saban invite Manziel to our sideline for the game? Is that WHY he came to Miami? Insert evil laugh . .

I don't think they'll turn on him, but if he starts distracting them, I can see a little resentment. Especially since this is more NCAA and less about just having fun.

Yeah...that win at Bama has them all crying, I'm sure.
I'm glad A&M is in the SEC and glad they have one good win so far

They did. But when the wheels came off, man they came off. You knew exactly who wasn't getting along.

The timing of this information is just a LITTLE suspicious... If Sumlin wins 10 games again this year he is the best coach in all of CFB.

First of all, JFF is his own worst enemy as far as negative attention is concerned. The world is not against a star. Tim Tebo for example.
He has done,well.... STUPID, IMMATURE things. He did this to himself in a lot of respects.
I personally want him on the field if he's done nothing wrong. If he has, I want him gone.

Holy shite. Are you serious or kidding?

Did you look closely at the picture?

Yeah, that "can't wait to get of College Station" remark might come back to bite. The team might have enough and say 'eff this guy, let's move on'. Don't know...Jerry Springer TV is always a bit unpredictable.

The GOAT coach, the GOAT player . . on one team, in one year. Heck we had 10 win seasons with Francionie, Dubose, and Shula . .
You guys love getting ahead of yourselves.

Why haven't they taken down USC and Clowney then?

JFF or not, Texas A&M could easily win 10 games with their schedule

The worst part of this is that these things cannot be investigated privately and out of the spotlight.
I understand that. But, it is a shame.
Even if there is nothing to this, the damage, to some degree, is done.
This kid has been a bit of a clown...but, that does not mean he deserves "this" unless he actually did "this". It will be ugly for a long while no matter what. And, the final result will only be 'no evidence to suspend' (at best). No way to "clear" it.
Completely agree, BHP
