I know it's cliched, but the lean times the Aggie football program has gone through in the past decade have fostered a culture of tight-knit teams. They really play for each other as much as anything--I got to see this up close and personal just a few short years ago when my brother was on the team.
Regardless of how it shakes out with Johnny, the team itself isn't going to abandon him or unravel. Just not how they do in Aggieland.

It's a 'notable' events timeline... flashing cash and sitting courtside at NBA games is just a regular day in the life.

Lets say Manziel is proven guilty by the NCAA... Is it bad enough to have his Heisman taken away like Bush?

if it happened on jan 6 and not before, I don't see what they could do

no.... this stuff happened in January, so it shouldn't affect last season.

True, but it was still during the 2012 season...

THEY..the NCAA has no say.
The Downtown Athletic Club can do what ever they want.
They culd take away JDC's if they want to.

Pretty sure aggies think they are still going to win 10 games without JFF.

It appears the allegations are all during this offseason, not during last year, he's fine on that front.

Haha they'll always be my #1 team

It could be that there is no evidence of any wrongdoing and no downfall. Maybe this galvanizes the team as underdogs, and this is just the beginning of a kick arse season. Media bashed A&M all offseason last year so its familiar territory.

correct, but I doubt they take away a trophy from an eligible player. they don't want more of a stain after RB

Obviously I was the one to start a thread on it.

The rule has already been posted several times debunking your claim.
Certainly has not. The Cam rule was closing a loophole by adding the parents to the clause for signing.
I assure you that when push comes to shove, if this argument is presented, it will be that Fitch was acting alone. It will be that JFF "has terminated his friendship with his friend and is deeply hurt by his taking advantage of him".
Win or lose, it will be a media storm of "he was clueless" so how can he, JFF, be guilty of anything?
