How much is winning the heisman worth?

quote:

According to Baylor, Griffin’s Heisman win has resulted in a 10 percent rise in giving to the Bear Foundation, while licensing royalties -- the take the school makes on stuff it sells with the Baylor brand on it -- are up more than 50 percent. Baylor athletics has set a Web traffic record and, most importantly, plans for a new $250 million stadium were finalized soon after Griffin’s Heisman win.

quote:

All told, Baylor estimates the Heisman win was worth $250 million in extra donations, increased ticket sales, licensing fees, sponsorship deals, an expanded deal with Fox Sports Southwest, and higher corn dog sales.

I'd bet JFF's heisman, combined with the 11 wins and move to the SEC, made/will make more money for A&M than Griffin did for Baylor.

Anyone else think that the guy who put JFF up to sign all this memorabilia was a Bama plant?

Early speculation has him being suspended at least through the week three match up between Bama and Tamu.

I was listening to the Tim Brando show and right before they went to commercial break there was an ESPN breaking news announcement that there is a second autograph broker claiming that mademoiselle was asking for money for signing autographs.

FRICK.

Wrong!

Win or lose I hope he plays. IMO Bama can lose that game and possibly still control their own destiny if they win out.

I had a bad feeling about the "personal assistant" thing when I first heard of it....I wouldn't doubt the one getting all the money is the PA...
