I agree, but logic, hell even common sense, isn't evidence.
At the moment, other than Joe Schad's twitter, I see no difference in evidence between Clowney and Manziel.

you're right. there is no real evidence on jff.
but, until clowney puts himself in the spotlight by contiunally making boneheaded decisions, being an attention whore and has a few autograph dealers publicly state that he was signing for money, the media is going to focus, not on clowney, but on johnny and his problems.
jff may very well be innocent of any of the ncaa rule breaking he is accused of, but, he has put himself in the position to be scrutinized by the media and everyone else.

Free Clowney, f**k Johnny Drama!!
Nothing is going to happen to them or anyone else as long as some autographer retailer doesn't step forward with proof of a transaction. It will just be "an ongoing investigation" forever. Unless the Feds get involved for tax evasion or a violation of the Patriot Act.

I don't get why this makes your opinion any different than some dude in the next cubicle.

Telemarketing doesn't involve huge corner offices.

What are the chances ANY information regarding the investigation will be shared by the NCAA before the kickoff of the Bama game?

Well, one of the QB's was told today that he is no longer in the backup race. Therefore, there is a REALLY good chance JFF is playing - A&M isn't going to go into the season with less than three QB's. Only question is if JFF's backup is going to be the talented true freshman Hill, or Luke Joekel's brother, Matt.

Anyone who thinks that Johnny Moneybags is going to sit out any games needs to have their head examined. This is like the Reggie Busy saga - will take light years to come to a resolution.

Anyone who doesn't either side with the players who signed, all of them, or the NCAA is an idiot and a homer.
