he coached at both but got run out at UTx after being the most successful coach they ever had to that point (Barnes has surpassed him now). Despite 8 NCAA appearances in his 10 years at a seriously dormant program, he and most horns have a hate-hate relationship nowadays near as I can tell

I'd think coaching only the second ever Heisman winner in school history (and first ever freshman winner), notching 11 wins for only like the 5th time in school history in year 1 of the SEC, not to mention being the first black head coach at A&M is the stuff of legend.
But what do I know?
