both really good points.

this Fondels kid is either a troll or 15 year old kid.

Definitely not a troll, no comment on the latter. That second quote is not a good point at all. It is a what if scenario that assumes only one conclusion. Even if those four things happened, it does not mean I will think that player is a douche. Some people are more sensitive than others though, and have to cover up their sensitivities by claiming douchebagery everywhere.

I don't know what A&M is gonna do, but if the media wanted to "kill him dead" they'd have done it already.

He's doing a steller job on his own. The media simply prints the interviews and we get to sit back and watch this shite-show. The article describing his family dinner was a jewel. If I talked like that to my dad's sister...it would have been "on" at the house when we got home. Actually...I wouldn't have made it through dinner as both my mom and dad would have told me to leave. Just basic manners that a kid should have towards his elders and surely his family.

no you don't. You're more than entitled to your opinion that he's not a douche. But it seems you're trying to say one side is wrong in thinking he is and you are right in saying he's not. Maybe you're right and everyone else is wrong...that's typically not the case, but just maybe.

deflection.

that is exactly what we are doing. we are so insecure about ourselves and our far more storied SEC programs that regardless of Johnny's track record this past 6 months we are out to smear his name.

we are out to get Johnny.
ESPN is out to get Johnny.
The NCAA is out to get Johnny.

sweet, innocent, lil confused Johnny just making a mistake here and there and is now being hunted down by a big bad angry mob.

Your fanbase asked for this.
You flooded every internet message board, radio show, and social media outlet with your Johnny Football campaign for months last year.

You got exactly what you wanted.
"Johnny Football", star Texas A&M Heisman QB a household name.

Problem is, you picked the wrong kid to jump on the bandwagon with. You picked a spoiled, self-absorbed, brat from a rich East Texas oil money family. Who has in 6 months let this all go to his head and can't see the error of his ways. Look back upon history, those who become too popular or too rich too quick, usually spiral out of control faster than they rose to the top. He is getting exactly what he deserves, no one is picking on him.

So typical of an Aggie sit back on your high horse as if you are on some virgin college football moral high ground with your "special moral code", blame everyone else, and fail to see how you are in any way wrong. But fact of the matter is, you get what you deserve. So will your program and so will Johnny.

I spoke to a Texas A&M booster yesterday, and he claimed “you know, we’re not Alabama, we’re not some of these big programs, we are different people” – who knows what he really means. But what he’s saying is “we have a special honor code, I think we’re different, and this has caused problems for us and we don’t want Johnny to represent us”.

what an absolute load of shite.

I can see some boosters who believe that and want him gone. I can also see some boosters who don't care and just want the football team to win.

That would be definitely, SL Tiger. I've seen you misspell it a couple of times, so I thought I'd change you life for the better.

My lifes plenty good so let's stick to the subject. BTW...Do you really get satisfaction out of looking for and pointing out misspelled words? I've always wondered that about you spelling Nazi's. Are you a frustrated english teacher that's mad at the world because you live check to check? Just curious as I'm sure that many others probably think "douchebag" when they see a spelling Nazi post.

what a crock of shite that article is.

I would guess that "booster" is the same type of cowardly a-hole that leaked to the media Sherman was getting fired before he was even told.

I never point out spelling errors on TD. I only did because you had done it twice. You seem like a good guy, and I didn't want someone not taking you seriously at work because you spell a word wrong in emails.

1) Everything has been a set-up and JFF is the victim.
2) He knows and understands the aggie code and lives by it
3) He isn't a douche and really just wants to be a normal kid.
4) Several of our college guys on this thread have volunteered to take him up on his offer to "walk a day in his shoes" in exchange for theirs. I'd actually like in on that offer too.

Just so we are on the same page, read below...

What is the Aggie Code of Honor?

“An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal, or tolerate those who do.”

The Aggie Code of Honor affirms values that apply to students, faculty and staff alike. This simple statement exemplifies two of our core values—excellence and integrity—and underscores our commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with laws and official policies. These core values forge a strong base to embrace our other core values of leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service.

How does Texas A&M strengthen compliance?

University-wide efforts encourage ethical conduct and compliance with legal obligations through heightened awareness, enhanced monitoring, and effective response to compliance risks. The key message is that individuals are responsible for ethical conduct and compliance in conducting daily activities.

JFF allegedly took money to sign some autographs. Couple of autograph brokers come forward, say they did it but wont cooperate with NCAA. Someone posted some Top Gun dildo gif and changed some lives. People act like precedent matters with NCAA. It does not. Kate Upton topless photos discussed. Consensus, meh, even though everyone WHI. That was the last development I noted.
