Kirby throws too many temper tantrums.
Kirby doesn’t have as good of a tan as Richt.
Kirby rocks a bowl cut and wears ugly visors.
Kirby doesn’t look as cool as Richt in an F150.

Richt > Kirby.

Right...but not in the years we're comparing the two. Kirby won the SEC and went to the championship in year two...Richt won the SEC and didn't have playoffs in his second year. Pretty easy concept.

You’d think if smart was so bad and Mullen such an offensive genius he would’ve been able to win at least 1 game against smart.

Florida currently has zero 5-star players on the roster. Georgia has 22.

When Florida has the talent it translates to trophies. What’s your excuse?

Kirby is just Bert with far better talent.

Unless the dude realizes he's got Ty O get an explosive offense he's never going to win.

It really is all in the way you develop Quarterbacks at least in the playoff age.

You need a dual-threat (or at least one who is capable of running) QB who can also throw very well to win Championships.

He doesn't need to run very well, but at least be able to run a little.

Of course, Kirby chased away a QB who just led his team to a CFP berth. Ya hate to see it.

Updated since Mike Bobo is going to South Carolina instead of Georgia, as Georgia fans had recently speculated.

The only difference between Richt and Kirby Shart is one came to Georgia with a big rebuild and had to deal with VOLS and Gators being absolute juggernauts. The other came to Georgia with weakest SEC East of all time and inherited a 10 win team.

Same results

this is a compliment you mouth breather. Let me know when kirby has a run like the late richt era, which is what got him fired.

this bullet points boils down to "UGA lost the SEC Championship game". In other words, a game UF didn't even make. One that UGA has been to 3 times since florida's last.

that's not true at all. IF you're going to want to make an attention grabbing "hey everyone look at me" thread like this, at least put substance in it like gruven did.

Georgia on average for the past five years was:

A 10 win team.

#8 in recruiting even before Kirby got there. (On average.)

Can you imagine if Kirby was at Mississippi State or a team with substantially less talent than he's squandering right now?

Dude would struggle to bowl anywhere else, what a lucky dude.

We should be happy, though: If Georgia had hired a real HC we would be absolutely fricked.

Mullen had a lot to fix here and it seems to be happening. Team improved both years.

From 4 losses, to a 10 win season but with three ugly losses, but a few big wins. This year at 10 wins before bowls, and two losses but very close games.

I think Mullen needs to make a few moves this offseason to finish closing the gap on the coaching side. Really needs a top tier recruiter on this staff.

UF should be better next year. The culture is growing with the team. Seems like a pay off year with LSU losing a ton of talent to the draft and Georgia having Bama and Auburn next year. Perfect time to strike.

Really, I just hope we sell out with Trask and adjust the offense for now. Outside of that, if Grantham stays one more year I also hope he sells out and starts being Grantham.

It was painful to watch him do the opposite of 3rd and Grantham which is blitzing so many players that third down is easy to convert.

Now he just doesn't blitz and hangs out in soft zone while letting people pick the defense apart.

2020 is a big year if our receivers develop and our defense can be just good enough to stop people from scoring touchdowns.

Let's see what happens when Mullen actually has a Quarterback that fits his system.

Trask has beaten Fromm in:

Touchdown passes.

Completion %.

and Yards.

I'm very excited to see the QB room after Trask tears it up next year since he has experience now. I am very happy with the direction of Florida.

Are you happy with Georgia?

so far fitzgerald, franks, trask, and jones are all apparently not for his system. When can we expect to see this QB, will be be in the next 4-5 years at least?
