That article actually made me relieved that the issue Forde cryptically mentioned was just that.

Now, when that dude gets arrested tomorrow and charged with being the kingpin of the entire operation I probably won't feel as good.

I’m going to be honest, I’m in catch up mode with all of this. I’ve followed some but it’s a lot to take in. You can tell it goes way deeper than it needs to.

Who the hell is Oliver Robinson

He WAS a state representative from Birmingham. He just pleaded guilty to taking bribes to keep a site in that area from being placed on the superfund list. There is a Baluch and Bingham attorney and a guy with Drummond Coal caught up in it too. Maybe others.

Ironically, Robinson does have a hoops tie in. He was UAB's first scholarship player and went on to play for the Spurs in the early 1980s.

I honestly kinda sadistically hope that it totally wrecks all the major schools just to see what the frick would happen.

It doesn't matter honestly. The way Will Wade has it rolling at LSU, we should win the west for years to come and challenge kentucky and florida for the sec title. LSU is going to be that good. It's been a while since we made a final four, I think like 10 years, but will wade will bring us there again in time. He's going to build a scary program here in br and is already well on his way. LSU has a good basketball history but I think will wade can surpass that. We are going to be a force, bookmark it now, watch and see, bc it's coming. Geaux tigers.

The West doesn't exist. And congrats on your good class. Welcome to the club. In case you have been living under a rock, the league is full of programs with Top 5 classes (Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Missisippi State, Missouri).

I don't think there's any sweating in Tuscaloosa as this has to do with his role at the NCAA and not Bama, but this news has just made a lot of people in Indianapolis clench hard as the FBI is about to get a confession from one of their own.

Reading between the lines and just using common sense.

No rules violations at UA. If there were they would have not said that in an official statement.

He knew some of the stuff going on at other schools and didn't do anything about it as an NCAA official, which was basically his job. He had to confess to Bill Byrne what he may have known...he had no choice but to resign.

We don't. We just hope like hell that is the case.

Just let us sit in the denial stage for a while please. If needed, we'll make it to anger soon enough.
