By the committee. In my opinion, LSU didn’t do anything to lose the top spot. Most Buckeye fans want Clempson anyways. frick the Dumbo Sweeney’s. We want LSU to get an easy out like Utah so they might be at full force for an awesome title game. OSU-LSU the Burrow Bowl

Ohio State will handle LSU easily. They have no defense

A man of reason. I really don’t care what spot we are in, but we did nothing to lose the top spot. Bottom line, we are both fortunate enough to be in the top four right now and control our destiny. Best of luck along the way

Its simply a matter of positioning to keep two SEC teams out.

Two things happened that can't be explained logically.

1. LSU, the team with the best resume, being moved down for no apparent reason.
2. Baylor moving up 5 spots for doing nothing more than beating a 6-5 Texas team.

The committee is just putting itself in a safe space just in case Georgia were to upset LSU.

as a fan of OSU..

the committee got it right.
its not that hard to see why..
#1 defense and #1 offense.
#1 in saragin predictors (by far)

right now, they are statistically the most dominant team in a generation..
...with the potential to go town as the single most dominant team in history i they can maintain this pace (possible...but unlikely)

personally i think some of y'all are just scared of clemson.
(also as an ohio state fan...i can understand)
*sigh*

JFC. There's 2 more polls to be released. Based on the melts here and on TD, you'd think this was the final poll and LSU was left out.

They weren't "moved down" for no apparent reason. Last week LSU moved up from 2 to 1 when they beat Bama. This week OSU moved up from 2 to 1 because they beat Penn State. It just tells me that the committee considers both teams to be really, really good.

I know what you're saying, and there is a case to made for that, but that particular move in tandem with moving Baylor up 5 spots makes me question the motive you speak of.

tOSU > LSU

tOSU has enough Defense and LSU has absolutely none. 38 points given up to Vandy who managed 6 vs Georgia’s backups. 41 and over 400 yards to a QB who was 80% and couldn’t move laterally..LMFAO

You shouldn't get rewarded for "looking more complete" over another team when your schedule is much easier than said team.

"We played a worse schedule, but we beat those teams badly so rank us ahead."

Kentucky fans pissed because their basketball team already has more losses than LSU football.

Facts about the Vandy game clearly elude you

Look up the box score of the Vandy game and try again

Cmon dude. I think LSU should be at #1 too, but OSU hasn't been playing the ACC conference schedule either. They've had their fair share of cupcakes, but they have beaten some solid teams along the way. They are in the top 2 with LSU by a wide margin.

Where am I wrong about your 42nd nationally ranked D?

It’s
Abysmal.

You wanna see teams names ranked higher? It’s embarrassing. Then see GA or OSU or teams you’ll have to potentially face in playoffs.

Truth is truth

I feel one of those is not like the other.
