FAU is 8-3, Cincinnati is 10-1, Wisky is 9-2, IU is 7-4, PSU is 9-2. You can say why you want about who those teams have played but they’ve won the majority of their games.

FAU (*Group of 5)
Best wins: honestly no clue
Lost by 24 to OSU & 34 to UCF
This is not a “good” win.

Cincinnati (*Group of 5)
Best wins: UCF by 3
In 3 of the last 4 weeks they’ve hung on to beat 4-7 AAC teams by 3 (ECU & USF) in the process they gave up 43 to ECU

Wisconsin
Best wins: Michigan
Lost to Illinois

Indiana
Best wins: Nebraska. Let me repeat that, Nebraska
Lost to every good to decent team they’ve played
This is not a “good” win.

Penn State
Best wins: Iowa, Michigan
Lost to Minnesota & OSU

quote:

Four of those are good wins and would be considered good wins in the SEC

Two. OSU has two solid wins.

Illinois has been a surprising team in the Big Ten this year. They are bowl eligible for the first time in 100 years. Kind of like when the SEC was kissing the holy feet of James Franklin when he had Vandy relevant. Don’t be that guy

Like I’ve stated, you can say what you want. And you did. Those teams still had to win those games about questionable competition.

C’mon man. Illinois won 6 games the last two years combined. They’re currently 6-5 with losses to Eastern Michigan & Nebraska.

That’s a far cry from Franklin putting back to back 9 win seasons together at Vanderbilt. Don’t be that guy

We’re getting lost in the weeds now. Let’s steer it back on topic, no one is here to discuss Illinois & Vanderbilt.

I remember the last time Ohio State thought they were gonna beat Clemson. And the time before that too.

Likewise sir. OSU and LSU have been a class of their own this year, I hope they get a chance to meet in New Orleans. Best of luck to y’all the rest of the way.

Clempson was losing with a minute left when Tahj Boyd pulled the game out of his arse with a lot of help from the zebras and a cheap shot from your defense to knock out Braxton Miller. And an interception that was clearly an incomplete pass.

Last game no excuse. Clempson earned it. Even roided up and grabbing junk and asses. Dumbo is still a douche. Fake Christian and all. Congrats!

Everyone can come up with meaningless, stupid, and illogical comments all day about biases for their team... I'm no different, but I accept what the committee has stated. It makes sense to me and is as close to being logical in an imperfect system. I really don't care who is ranked where as long as they get in the CFP....

I thought terrible coaching was pretty evident that year and to me, that is the big difference this year, the defensive coaching especially...Same personnel really.

Lot of stupidity in this thread. I’ll just say this.....

Since 2015 when Clemson started its playoff run every single year our schedule has been bashed. Even in 2016 when the ACC had one of the best years ever for a conference.

In that time nobody outside the ACC except Alabama has been able to beat us and until someone does you need to just STFU and have respect for the best program in CFB.

There are confirmed stories that Clemson was indeed paying its players and known positive drug tests for steroid use sampled from starters on Clemson’s defense going back three or four years. Dumbo claimed that they “unknowingly” took the PED’s and the NCAA turned a blind eye. Google is your friend. You are supporting a cheating program. OSU suspended Chase Young for a loan that he paid back in full. Clempson got a letter that it needs to not give it’s players steroids and the Clemson basketball program was under investigation when an assistant coach mentioned Dumbo by name as an example of how to cheat and get away with it. The conversation was on tape. You are in denial
