Well, at least you're moving up in the world.
Chicago is the most corrupt city in America.
And the rest of the state is absolutely god awful. Peoria is trash. Rockford, trash. Champagne, meh. Springfield, absolute complete trash. Decatur, need I continue the theme?
IL is flat and corrupt. Toll booths, you would.

How did a discussion of our travel expenses being over budget turn into Missouri fans e-smacking each other around?
Gray, I recommend a few beers, chill out a little.

It's right there for you to see.. don't need to ask. Pappa Big10 can pretend that post about busing wasn't greatly influenced by his hatred of the SEC.
I'm just raging right now, so rustled about IL, bouncing off the walls. Ahhhhhhhhhh

Another reason why Mizzou should be in the West not the East. It hurts Mizzou big time but it also dings SEC East school budgets as well.

Summary: According to grayback, me saying that costs went up in the SEC because we no longer have Ames, Manhattan, lawrence, and Lincoln to bus to and instead only have Fayetteville means that I hate the SEC and long for the Big 10.
Never mind that the actual subject of this thread was increased costs and the additional two million Mizzou paid in travel expenses including one million over the projected budget. It's all got to do with me being from Illinois and liking the Cubs meaning I hate the SEC.
Summary of Summary: Grayback's flaming, but doing it on the rant instead of his usual outpost on the Mizzou board.

Half of the MSB is Cubs fans and all of them are from Louisiana.

Congrats on not looking at a map. Being in the West wouldn't be much different. Thanks for stopping by though.

Dude, that was rather pathetic, even for you. That was essentially a blatant lie.
You made a post listing numerous Big12 cities we would bus to, and then said maybe we would bus to Arkansas. It was clearly (even if only through your sub-concious) angled as anti-SEC move. Arkansas is the same distance as many of those Big12 cities, your post was garbage at best, agenda based at worst.
And thanks for lettin' me know the thread was about the budget. I only made multiple comments earlier on the subject.

Go back and read. I said probably Lincoln (323 miles) and maybe Fayetteville (313 miles.)
I know I've said this before, but sometimes I wonder if you're flaming or if you really just have some drunken hillbilly thought in your head and then try to find supporting evidence where there is none.
For that, you can frick off.
I'm sure they were just as poignant as your other contributions in the past two pages.

You said probably Nebraska after listing off numerous big12 cities, then maybe Arkansas.
Dude it's right there. I said if you're for sure driving to Aimes, you're driving it Fayetteville. It's essentially the same. This is stupid.

Actually they were the only comments that directly answered the issue of the under budget. At the last minute the airline we were using informed MU that they no longer had the planes we needed, they were forced to scrabble and book flights on unnecessarily large planes without the benefit of booking long in advance.

All of the Big 12 cities I listed are closer to Columbia than any other SEC city. Are you really arguing this point, or is your reading comprehension and geography knowledge just that poor?

According to the article it was 2 million + 1 million over for a total of 3 million million more than last year.
5 million = Big 12 budget
2 million = SEC extra budget
1 million = over extra budget
7 million = total (which is almost double the Ole Miss budget)
Everybody clear now?
As for the derail I have family and friends in KC, STL, and CHI and all places are fine so quit bitching about it.
Back to topic....
Is the black bus the only sports vehicle owned by Mizzou? If not what else to they have for travel?

Umm.. Many of them are like 30 miles difference than Fayetteville. Which is why I made the comment that if you're for sure driving to Aimes, you're definitely driving to Fayetteville. Thanks for going full retard.

You border TN and yet you're closer to Oxford, Miss than you are Knoxville. You belong in the West.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reported this week that Mizzou spent $7.1 million on travel in the 2012-13 academic year. That's $1 million more than what athletics officials expected and nearly $2 million more than travel costs during the school's final season in the Big 12 Conference.
$1 million is chump change considering they received over $45+ million in donations to the AD in ONE year from June 2012-June 2013
