SO can we confirm yet that he didn't even go to Bama as was speculated early on here?
I know he's from Texas..if there was a prototypical sidewalk fan from 'x' school that never attended class there,He would be it to its fullest...stuffed elephant hat and national championship year letterman jacket included in the kit...

All due respect, this stance is messed up. What are you gonna do? Blame every bammer for the actions of one lunatic? This is the kind of rhetoric that will lead to another crazy returning the "favor".
Did you fail to note the part where I *admitted* that my thought above was in no way rational? Or did you just snip that part on purpose?
I've got 9 months to get it together. Give it time.

Seems like a little good-natured ribbing between rival fan bases... the Bamers should go steal Auburn's mascot... the tiger, or eagle, or whatever the frick it is this week.

Actually, he lived and retired in Texas.
He's FROM the Redneck Riviera of FL.

You really think some crazy Bama fan poisoning some trees is going to help Auburn on the field this year? It will have no impact. At all.

Well, as a Dadeville resident, I can say without a doubt I have never seen this man before. This is a town of only about 4,000 people.
He is probably a transplant that lives on Lake Martin and has a Dadeville address.

I believe in the call to Finebaum he said he lived in Texas when bear Bryant died, and wasn't fully informed of the Bama - Auburn rivalry...that was '83, so he's a very late convert to be this ignorant and passionate about Bama.
Correct me if I'm wrong on the call details...

Yep. "Bulletin board" material has no impact in most games, and certainly not in a rivalry game like Alabama / Auburn. The players, coaches, and fans are already 100% amped, angry, etc for these games. Can't go higher than 100%.

Bulletin board material is more for preparation than anything else. Thats why you put things like that in weight rooms and stuff.

I'm gonna go ahead and say F you for that...that link will be pasted all over the internet and used as an example of "how classless Bama fans are"...
You a-hole...
Who gives a shite? I find this whole situation hilarious.
The guy was a dumbass for poisoning the tree, but the over the top response of the "Family" has me in stitches. Of course, I find Bama fans amusing as well when they get all up in arms over stickers on statues.

Thia was jsut shared on my Facebook news feed

TREES by: Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918) I THINK that I shall never see ......A poem lovely as a tree. A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth's sweet flowing breast; A tree that looks at God all day, And lifts her leafy arms to pray; A tree that may in Summer wear A nest of robins in her hair; Upon whose bosom snow has lain; Who intimately lives with rain. Poems are made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree. WDE!

Yep, Coaches never use bulletin board material to motivate a team.
The Auburn football team could care less about the tree poisoning.
It has no impact in motivating Auburn's football team in the Iron Bowl Rivalry. And Bama held their 24-0 lead against Auburn to wind last years Iron Bowl.
