Nah, I don't really care. State turns over defensive coordinators almost every year and still manages to have a fairly stiff defense most years.

What I'm enjoying is calling out this guy for continually spinning and talking out of both sides of his mouth.

Maybe if all of y'all hold hands and say it in unison, people will start to believe it. Doubtful, but it's worth a try.

I've linked 24/7 Sports which is seen as very credible source in college football.

You're passing your opinions off as "fact" and getting pissed when people question it.

They were credibly wrong all day yesterday, so no, it's not a credible source.

Pissed? It's a glorious day. The sun is shining, my children are healthy, and I'm not on tRant carrying water for my dumpster fire of a football program.

I'd take Joe Lee Dunn back in a heartbeat just for nostalgic purposes.

So your credible sources are Billy Embody and Shae Dixon? Here are direct quotes from yesterday:

Shae Dixon, about 24 hours ago:

"The Tigers wouldn't be flying in Arnett for an in-person interview if they didn't feel there was a real shot at him. We will see how the day goes, but it's another big DC target now in Baton Rouge with a chance to get a deal done."

Billy Embody, yesterday afternoon:

"Talked with a couple sources. Things are trending well (with Arnett). Lawyers are working on some buyout hangups, but didn't get the feeling they were too worried about them. Will keep you guys updated."

Direct quotes from your impeccable sources that now say there was never an offer.

Where's the "gotcha?" You realize none of those things are exclusive to themselves right?

It seems as though LSU was prepared to make a deal if they thought Arnett was the guy, apparently something in the interview changed their mind.

Stop melting, my guy.

You seem to be confused that an interview doesnt = auotmatic job offer. Heard myself from people right into it the interview didn't go the way they wanted and both parties left the table with no offer given. It's not a knock on Arnett, he's done a good job, we are not willing to go back to a permanent 3 man front though and supposedly that was one of the main deciding factors on top of not like how he deals with the secondary (Raymond interjecting there).

O even mentioned prior to this he expected the process to take a couple weeks coming up, they want to interview NFL guys.

Steve just posted that he doesn’t think LSU extended a formal offer but only because they didn’t know the buyout was $2M, rather, they thought it was $450K. But they likely would have if not for the buyout. So you’re both right and you’re both wrong I guess?
