No. Just rules where schools can't act like little bitches and ban teams from performing at halftime because they are butthurt over something or trying to act like they have some kind of power over a team they don't like. They don't have rules against it because most schools see how silly it is and don't do it.
you were in band weren't you

Yeah hate to break it to faggie but no one in the SEC gives two shits about their band and I have never went to a game thinking "Oh man I can't wait for halftime so I can see the bands play!"
Speaking the truth. I don't even want to see our band play. I sure as frick don't want to see another band march all over our field.

Wut? Why would you play us in Knoxville? I think you're thinking of Tennessee.
You wont be tearing our grass up because other bands don't play on our field.

I'm like half awake and doing a shitty job of trolling

The only band worth watching is the M.O.B.
The reason why is because they can be entertaining and do not do the same act every home game every year...

You are not special, we do not allow any other team's band to perform at halftime nor do we allow live mascots in our stadiums.
Again, it doesn't matter to me much and I don't see this as a slight against A&M. It's Ark's perogative. I just think it's a shame that the Arkansas (and apparently Tennessee) fans are denied that opportunity. For example I hated that the Rice M.O.B. didn't make the trip to College Station (their decision, nothing to do with permission). As for "we do not allow" I don't expect you to know the answer but when did that start? I'm almost certain that both bands travelled to the opponent in SWC days and both marched.
To me the mascot thing is just weak. A Collie, a bulldog or possibly 2... what the hell?
ETA: Actually the M.O.B. did make the trip, they just didn't march because they weren't ready for it. And they were decked out in their Johnny Manziel-autographed T-shirts. Good stuff.

These aren't HBCU's. People don't go to games to watch the fricking band. They show up to watch football. Most teams don't even care about their own marching bad.
I wouldn't say they're being denied the opportunity to watch something that most of them have no interest in.

I'm a Hog fan, but not necessarily a University fan. They can be a bunch of shite heads up there.

Is this really that big of a deal? Maybe kinda childish on Arkys part, but its just the band, who actually cares about them.

I don't remember the exact year this policy went into effect, its been a while now.

No live mascots are allowed in the stadiums in the states, it doesn't matter if its a lap dog or a tiger, this policy has been in place for a while now too, even a bigger deal now that both stadiums have field turf as we don't want them pissing and shitting all over the place.
Its nothing personal or a slight to the aggys, you are the 2nd fan base to bitch about it with Ms. State being the first over the mascot deal, our house our rules.

And they sure as shite don't go to see a bunch of old folks trotted out at halftime either. Appreciate what some of them have done, but halftime is not the place for them.

I don't even know what the hell a M.O.B. is. That's how many fricks I have to give about band.

LOL.
Bands are allowed in the stadium, Jacksonville St. brought their full band last year (they had tickets for it left over out of their allotment).
The band is also given good seats instead of being put in the top back corner of the upper deck like some other SEC schools do.

Rice's band is the M.O.B., they've been trolling opposing fan bases during half-time of games since the 70s or so.

There is nothing spectacular about the fightin aggy marching band, it isn't even the best marching band in your state, let alone the country.
