Arkansas, why do you think it's going to get better?

Arky has clearly been playing second fiddle to LSU and Bama, and since TAMU joined the SEC you're 0-2 vs. A&M. On top of that, Ole Miss recruiting has clearly been moving in the right direction and Auburn has the coach they needed to tap into the talent they've been recruiting. Where does that leave Arkansas?

23 on your roster are from Texas. That "come from TX, stay close to home, play in the SEC" proximity Texas recruiting base just got absolutely plucked by A&M right out of your hands.

Oh, what's that you say? A&M won't be relevant after JFF is gone?

Arky recruiting vs. A&M recruiting:
2011 - #21 arky #35 TAMU
2012 - #27 arky #16 TAMU
2013 - #23 arky #9 TAMU
2014 - #30 arky (0 5*, 3 4*) #4 TAMU (2 5*, 10 4*)

good luck, pigs. you keep up the good fight and don't get too bloodied up as you fight with the staters to stay out of the SECw cellar.

Trash talk aside, I just don't understand why Arky would go to the same offense/defense philsophy as LSU/Bama. Seems near impossible to beat them like that since they will have superior athletes at every position.

The two programs are most certainly trending in seperate directions. The Aggies are in the middle of a meteoric rise to the top of the football world, Bret is putting the starter logs on the dumpster.

Are you mad the mastermind is in Lubbock? Better get your punches in these next few weeks aggies. After this season all you will have is each other.

Using recruiting rankings to predict future success is for dumba$$e$.

Evaluation and development are the key for programs like ours. Bielema proved at Whisky he knows how to do both.

Are you referring to Kingsbury being at Tech now? So our offense is worse despite being more consistent, putting up more points and more yards?

these threads are always amusing... history suggests arkansas will have no trouble competing with A&M in the future. Sumlin appears to be a very good coach who is recruiting well, but there's no gurantee he's in it for the long haul in College Station... and I don't know about you, but there is as good (if not better) a chance the A&M administration hires the next Fran than it does the next Sumlin.

How long has A&M and Arky been in the SEC together? 2 years? Some history.

i'm not going to knight for arkansas fans on here, but you guys shared a conference for decades so let's not act like this is some brand new thing.

college football has a way of changing on a dime with the swiftness... literally from one week to another.

Alabama lost their last 4 regular season games in 2007 and Bama fans were confident things were getting better.
