Looking back at the avg. 247 composite recruiting rankings from 2018-2021 Arkansas classes ranked dead last with a 30.5 avg.

Alabama avg. 2.25
LSU 6.75
Texas 7.25
A&M 8.75
Auburn 12.25
Ole Miss 25.75
Miss St 26.25

Yet Arkansas still managed to go 4-3 against those teams last year. LSU, Texas, and Texas A&M should all go crawl under a rock and hide in shame with classes ranked inside the top 10 but still got their asses kicked by Arkansas. Can you just imagine how bad it's gonna get for you guys if Pittman gets 4 classes ranked inside the top 20? It's looking like he just might get the first one in 23. LSU just hired them a new coach, Texas and Texas A&M might need to looking real soon.

Hey man I feel for ya. I know how it is, but we finally hired us a real coach. It was really embarrassing for us when we were losing to the likes of ULM and North Texas. I give LSU Credit for realizing this was a serious problem so they fired their coach and hired them a new one, it might work out you never know. But damn man when you get your arse kicked by a team with that much less talent you gotta wake up and do something before things get really bad.

As an Aggie, I’m a cautious optimist

Remember we had Chad Morris for a couple years, he was about equal to Jimbo. I mean Chad never won 8 games but he never had a roster stacked with top 10 recruiting classes either. With that much talent on hand it doesn't take much of a coach to win 8 games, I bet Chad could do it.

I mean we played arkansas without our best receiver, starting rb, two olinemen and our third string true freshman qb getting most of the snaps.

HC was fired already and he had hired two coordinators with zero experience prior. LSU did alright in that game still lol

A rational man would say perhaps you punched above your weight so prepare for regression. But you are a FANatic.

That's just an excuse. You had 4 years of top 10 recruiting classes ours were outside the top 30 plus we had 3 walk ons starting.

What did your best season in decades get you? A crappy Florida bowl win ? Neat.

Arkansas had a nice season last year, but benefited by playing teams with big time QB issues in the division and no conf (texas): Beating A&M and LSU and even losing to Auburn. All wins were close games except double digits victories over A&M (thanks Elko) and Mizzou. Played Bama tough but got clobbered by Georgia. Can they repeat those close wins? Can they replace Burks production? Keeping B. Odom was a huge deal.

Nice troll on the Jimbo - Aggie Chad comparison. Stupid, but I laughed.

Elko was the only reason the game wasn't a complete blow-out. How many points did yall have going into the 4th quarter?

Hell, I'm not sure A&M makes a bowl game last year if the defense doesn't play good for most of the year. It'll be interesting to see how the defense does this year.

It was 17-0 a minute into the 2nd quarter because of Elko. Great coach but sometimes his game plans were terrible. Exhibit A Miss State game. He made fantastic halftime adjustments though.

Don’t derail the OP.

It's really kind of sad listening to the excuses. You can kind of understand Texas being a big 12 team, LSU at least realized we have superior coaching and they are trying close the gap, but man A&M with all that talent and paying 10 million a year for a Chad Jr. type coach and getting beat by double digits.

Didn’t Arkansas return 19 of 22 starters in 2021?

I bet you had you're head hung really low while typing that. A&M has more 5 star players on this team than Arkansas has had in the entire history of Razorback football.
