The difference between the Auburn and Louisville situations is that we aren't trying to change the offense like both those teams did. Hugh Nall had one year of learning BP's offense before being promoted to OC that season and Krags scraped the whole thing entirely.
We have been running the system for four years now and will have the plays called by a guy who has been in the system coaching for 10+ years.
Now I don't think he will call plays as good as Bobby but I don't think you can call the situations at Auburn and Louisville the same as at Arkansas.
I agree and even though P Petrino is kind of meh imo P Petrino>>>>>>>>Nallsminger

Not with davis back. He'll be known as the best back in the league by the end of the year.
Anyone arguing against Marcus Lattimore for the #1 spot is delusional or an idiot, or a combination of both.

He had an ACL tear...and davis outrushed him in there only comparable seasons.

If Davis is so damn good, why did he only get seven carries against Alabama in 2010?
Marcus Lattimore is, perhaps, the most talented RB in the SEC since McFadden. The only RB who is nearly as talented as Lattimore is Richardson.
Lattimore was on pace for 1400 yards and a second consecutive 17+ TD season in 2011 before he was injured.

OK, see that is the kind of info I am looking for. I have heard nothing until that post right there. Thank you I like KD and want him to make it, but damn those injuries.

Ask Bobby Petrino, he did have 6 yards per
That said, Davis became our full time starter after aTm and led the league in rushing. There is also no B.Green to take away goaline carriers....
I loved the 176 and 3TD's he put on OM...

He ran the fastest 40 time on the team a couple weeks ago IIRC

Davis is gonna be just fine. hes no stranger to ankle breaks. id be much more concerned about latti's knee. thats a serious question mark. knees end careers, not typically ankles.
for a really good example of how dominant our offense is with knile davis, watch Ark/LSU in '10. He crammed it down their throats all through the 4th.
I love how lsu fans talk like they are so dominant over arkansas, when the teams have been playing close games the past five years (minus last year, while our team was in mourning after losing a teammate that week.)
ill take it from bama, theyve had our number lately, but not lsu.

And you have won how many conference titles?..natioanl titles?...You'll take it from LSU too, you might not like it, but we'll help you swallow...

Any proof that he'll come back and still be a beast?

he broke his ankle before he blew up in '10, so i see no reason not to think he's gonna be fine.
and im not saying lsu hasnt been the better program, but youre beatable. every arkansas fan knows we can beat lsu. bama, thats the game that always scares us.

Hmm well last season your replacement was "just as good as Knile" and one RB does not equal 24 point difference
