Unable to compete in the newly crowded SEC, Arkansas has completely fallen off as a football program.
They don't even try to recruit the top kids in their own state anymore.

There's not that many to choose from actually. A lot of FCS caliber players to choose from but the pickings for FBS ball are pretty slim.

Not many but Arkansas high school football is poorly funded, poorly coached and player development is terrible.
I know as I have watched these high school teams for decades and the Little Rock metro has suffered the most.

Typical try hard Misery post. They have to be the most boring fanbase on this board. Why are yall so uninteresting and dull? Maybe thats why most of your state pulls for other teams. Kansas owns the middle to west side of the state while Arkansas has more fans in the southern third of the state than Missouri.

Petrino has improved the Razorbacks, and their young QB is only going to become more dangerous as they recruit skill position players around him .... and they will come.
I really like the leadership and stability that Sam Pittman provides. Good coach and he will insure that Arkansas has a consistently good quality LOS .... which you absolutely must have to compete in the SEC.
I think 'ole Sam needs to watch his back around Bobby though .... long track record there

But we were a successful and winning program before all this mess. Arkansas is still top 25 in all time wins and as a program.

Arkansas doesn't have a good OL and pass protection is terrible. That has been disappointing with Pittman.

Mizzou missed the CFP by losing to USCe. Tight arse game they should have won. Piggy is more worried about next season…. So….
