Dyer will do nothing but ride the bench at Auburn he is to small. Arkansas didn't need him as i recall i think Arkansas is 5 deep at RB.

Personally, I thought the same re: Dyer. I would have been OK with him choosing to play for us but it didn't hurt my feelings that he didn't. I just didn't think he was that great in HS. I'm excited about Wingo, DJ, Davis, and just take your pick. Dyer doesn't make the cut with me.

yeah, seriously

i can understand not being too concerned missing out on dyer because we have so many players competing at RB right now. Personally, i'm most bothered by losing the top in-state player; hate to see that precedent. But it always bothers me to see people talking down the kid's talent. Petrino was on him early and stayed on him late.

I always considered the 5A division/opposition to be a factor I guess. And I think I heard that he was perhaps 25 years of age in the 9th grade ...or something like that. Anyway, something didn't sit right with me about the deal.

If they had signed him they would already be starting the Dyer for Heisman 2014 campaign.

It will be interesting to see how it turns out for him.

Some probably would!
I'm comfortable with what Bobby has done so far. I guess if we hadn't already been loaded in the RB position, losing that one may have stung a bit.

dyer may or may not pan out. i'm not sure either way. he does have some down sides but then again he was a stud in highschool so i would hate to just say for sure bust however we'll find out next year just how good he is

I think he'll be alright. But I see where ya'll are coming from with being loaded at RB so not really caring. We are too so I wouldn't have minded too much if yall got Dyer but our offense requires multiple RBs to get carries so he will most likely still see the field this year and contribute while he probably wouldn't have at Arky so I guess it is different.. but I still see what yall are saying

What I'm sayin' is that in one of these overly abundant years, when the state of Alabama is loaded with RBs as potential recruits, send a good one our way!

shite I just gave you your punter Dylan Breeding, from my high school class, and WR Maudrecus Humphrey who is also a friend from high school. Is that not enough?

Plus, it's bound to be better than last years. There really isn't any direction he can go other than up.
I know Petrino doesnt have a great history with Rivals or Scout, but I personally think he can recruit pretty well.

I mean:
- Cobi Hamilton 3*
- Greg Childs 3*
- Jarius Wright 3*
- Dennis Johnson 3*
- Tank Wright 3*

-Watch out for Chris Gragg this year at TE too. He is a little skinny, but will create big mismatch problems this year (according to Petrino)= 2*

Not saying our 3*'s are better than everyone elses 4-5*, but I like what Petrino does with his kids and trust his judgement.

We know
hard to argue against the #1 offense with "nowhere to go but up" recruiting classes

Now for the defense
