This is just a regular hangover for old people.

I never knew they could be that serious. I've never had one, but I always thought it was just a really intense headache.

I won't lie. I thought they were always just an excuse for the wife to bitch at me.

That's terrible... Hate it for the guy... He could've made some $ on the mound for sure.

There is pretty much zero known about migranes in the medical world. They stumbled upon Imitrex, which helps for some people, on accident looking for a blood pressure medicine or something like that.

My wife uses Imatrex for hers. Luckily they are few and far between. When she gets them she lays down in bed with lights off and wet rag over her head. I glad I don't get them. Terrell Davis (sp) had the same problem. Don't know how he managed.

Van Horn revealed today his migraine issue had come back. Sad deal, kid was nails on the mound.
Man. My heart just sank. That kid has some serious talent on the mound. I hope he keeps a level head and finds success in another field.

That doesn't give me a clear picture. My worst hangovers are just constant vomiting. Don't really get the headaches.

I get mild ones all the time, in fact have a slight one right now. At least 2-3x a week. Strain on my eyes affects it, staring at a computer for work 10-12 hrs a day doesn't help, really bright sunny days are a bitch.

The only over the counter thing I've noticed come even close to working is Excedrin Migraine, it's aspirin, ibuprofen, and 25mg of caffeine. I usually down 2-3 with a cold Coke or Dr. Pepper, and a big glass of water. I have a cold mask that ladies wear when it's really bad and I can't lay down. A dark, dark room with a fan on and nice comfy sofa or a down comforter is heaven when I'm fighting one off.

My caffeine addiction is gripping, when I try to get off it those withdrawal headaches are almost as bad. I often have to grind my knuckles into the spot where it hurts the most to just to give me a different sensation of pain, migraines are a MF'r. You can forget about playing any sports with a migraine.

I suffered from migraines for years until a couple of couple of sinus surgeries completely eliminated them. Migraines are awful.

As long as I catch it early enough, Excedrin Migraine works for me but I can also get by with just ibuprofen and a cup of anything caffinated.

I know its not just a headache coming on when I can start to feel it in my eyes. Those are the ones that turned into migraines for me. I haven't had one in a few years now since figuring that out. Works for one of my friends also, but same deal, only if you catch it early enough. Once the migraine sets in its too late. I never found anything that helps me then, just time and a super dark room with ear plugs.

If you've never had them, you wouldn't understand.

They can be serious enough to put you on FMLA from work IRL.

Yep. They can be debilitating. I had one last week that I didn't completely get over for three days. It felt like my brain was bruised afterward. Only thing to do was take pain meds to try take the edge off & sleep.

Sad situation for Lynch. That's really too bad.

I have migraines pretty often. It can be extremely crippling if one is particularly bad. Hate to hear it for the kid
