They are now 2-5 in SEC since NSJ came back.

But he makes them a national title contender.

So you agree he's not a difference maker.

This.
How many posts during the win streak did Hogs fans make that were like "and this is without our best player. You think we're good now. Just wait till he comes back."

Sow fans prove they don’t know a fricking thing about basketball.

Nick lead the team in points and assists today. Maybe you should aim your vitriol at our junior "leader" who selfishly gave in to his emotions.

Smith isn't just the only problem but hotheads like Black, Johnson and Devo that are toxic.

As stupid as this post is, you made one good point you didn't intend. The Hogs are definitely a better team with Devo and no Smith, than they are with Smith and no Devo.

Devo is a great player. It's a shame he lost his cool because we could have used him today.

I don't think what he did deserved a tech. He was celebrating a great play. He yelled and pumped his fist in the air at no one in particular. Literally facing away from everyone else on the floor.

Oh yeah I agree with you, but it doesn't change the fact that it cost us. Acting like Nick has been the problem is ridiculous.

It doesn't matter. This is a very toxic team and an embarrassment to the school.

Nick has been the problem. He's a me-first guy.
I don't care if he is the most talented player. They're not as good of a team with him out there.
I think this will basically be the same group next year, just no NSJ. And think they're going to be mighty dangerous. Probably the best team since 95

Have you looked at this team?

Don't you think the problem is more than just one player?

Of course. I never said he was the only problem. But I think he's a big one. I think it's obvious this team was finding its rhythm without him, and his return hurt that.
But I also think a lot of the other problems with this team will be largely remedied with a year of experience and maturity.
I don't think they have scratched the surface on the potential of Pinion and Dunning. Ford can be a solid, steadying presence with another year.
Get Graham up to speed on how you have to play D in the SEC so he can stay in the game and be the inside scorer they need.
I legit see a very strong team next year.

It will be a different team with different players. Hopefully with players that have some level of maturity and grit.

Who knows nowadays with the portal and all, but barring a bunch of transfers, it will be the same team, just without Smith and Johnson, neither of which played half the season.
