Bought tickets for Arkansas - LSU the other day.

1) whats the best place to park if im trying to avoid paying for parking (it's one of my personal pet peeves I try to avoid at all costs if at all possible)

2) what are some gameday traditions I should keep an eye out for? Ive been to Fayetteville plenty for cross country races but never for a game.

3) How hard is it to get from section to section in the stadium? I enjoy moving around and seeing different parts of a stadium when I go to a new one.

TIA

You should park in one of the free parking spots as close to the stadium as possible.

They always sing the national anthem before the game.

It's pretty easy if you're able to walk and there are open seats in the section you're trying to go to.

park at baum stadium and either walk or grab a ride on one of the busses. The walk is a fun one with a lot of tailgating in between.

the design of the stadium is good. Moving between sections isnt difficult at all.

Be sure to go to the big tailgate area on North side of stadium. The big lot next to the stadium... cannot miss it. Fans there are great and welcoming to visitors. It's a good time and highly recommended.

Stop by Wright's in Johnson. Best BBQ in the entire state.

Baum has a few free spots. That lot is also parking pass only, so they go quick. It’s a bit of a hike, but shuttle available as well.

Quite a bit of tailgating around that starts south of the stadium in The Gardens, then all the way up Razorback Road. Hog Town is north of stadium and across the street from The Pit. Hog Walk is 2:15 before game time. Dickson is usually hopping as well.

Not hard on the lower level. The north end zone has a nice terrace and standing room only area. Also can walk stairs in north corners for nice views. Anything up the elevators in corners you’ll need a pass for unless you’re going to just upper deck.

I would have recommended places like the Catfish hole but I visited a couple of weeks ago and was disappointed.

The catfish were cut into small pieces like nuggets and the prices went up. So instead of about four pieces of catfish I got four nuggets instead. I couldn't eat them it was so bad. Also you used to get honey butter sauce for the hush puppies which was free but now charge 75 cents. No thanks.

Instead if you are willing to travel farther out, go visit the Wooden Spoon in Gentry, Arkansas. It is ran by Mennonites that cook the food from scratch. They have weird hours though.

1. Free Parking around Baum and shuttle.
2. Arkansas may be the most underrated state for BBQ. We don't really have one signature style but it's kind of a blend between Memphis, St. Louis, and Texas.
3. Tailgating areas are a fun walk if you have time. Stadium atmosphere is really good. Take a pic at the running Hogs statue on the visitors side in the corner.
4. Don't get in a hurry after the game. It'll be chaos for a couple of hours until the parking clears.

The rest of the country thinks of roadkill when they hear “Arkansas BBQ,” so it’s not hard for y’all to be underrated in that dept. Is Dickey’s or Arby’s the best spot in town?

Fayetteville high-school usually has parking unless you get there relatively late. It's not a long walk at all, relatively cheap, and supports their band.
