If you’re down with line dancing to every song and girl’s with not so bad body odor, then I suggest the Electric Cowboy.

I hope the Cowboy in LR is better/classier than the one here in Fort Smith...

I imagine it's not though.

Can't tell if this is a defensive post or not. I didn't pick where to stay. They wanted to stay in a bigger city.

Little Rock is Jackson with less crime and less good restaurants.

It’s not. It’s a city. All city’s have their bad areas, which is normally in the south end of town. I’ve lived in both Jackson and Little Rock. I’m partial to Little Rock, but Jackson has the best restaurant scene. The biggest difference IMO, is LR actually has a downtown scene by the river that is clean and safe. Jackson is just a crime infested shithole with good food.

Does he stay in Jackson when Bama plays Ole Miss? Why would anyone choose Little Rock over Fayetteville especially when it’s an early game and would require a 3 hour drive. The is a Doe’s on Dickson St. and a Ruth’s Chris in Bentonville. Might be the dumbest thing I’ve read on the Rant and that says a lot.

I like the River Market a lot. Does, not too far from the River Market, is good. I’ll get their tamales and a side of shredded cheese. Sonny Williams Steakhouse in the River Market is good as is the Flying Fish. Any of the beer places in the River Market, Flying Saucer, etc., are good.

The Butcher Shop steakhouse out in West LR is good as well and one of our posters works out there.

Given the time constraints you’ll be under the River Market will be your best bet for dining and drinking and it is a well-policed area. LINK

Arthur's might be the best steakhouse in the state which was mentioned. Someone also mentioned Willie D's and Ernie Biggs for some reason. I'd avoid those unless your into obnoxious chain dueling piano bars which they both are.

Check in to the Marriott, Uber to Arthur's, Uber back to the hotel, night cap at the Capital Bar across the street. That is exactly what I'd do if I were staying in Little Rock tonight.

that's not what he asked.

He asked f there was a casino "near by", which would be a yes- 35 minutes west of Fayetteville.
