I think most of our fans have a wait and see mentality when it comes to basketball. And then the rest of us are trying to find reasons to keep showing up for this team but damn it’s hard to watch them blow big leads and get blown out against other good teams. Last year at least we could score and won some big games. This team can’t close out games and goes through huge cold spells.

I'm so used to losing these games at ole miss that I'm in total shock.
Throw out the past history,the new sheriff is doing work.
Ole Miss played a great game and Muss still has his guys coming back and taking control..I can't believe it!

I get all that, but I follow MS media and haven’t seen a damn thing today about basketball out of them.

Ms media is so far up the collective asses of mike leach and lane kiffin that they’ve forgotten basketball season is a thing

lol yea I quit watching after seeing us get down in the 2nd half expecting to lose. checked the score with about 4 min to play, saw we had a chance and tuned back in.

That is a concern, and I do understand why they are staying away, but basketball, more than any other college sport feeds off the emotion of the crowd. The fans are right on top of the court, you don't have the stop and start nature of football.
Its the classic Catch 22. The fans want a good basketball team to go see, the team needs a good basketball crowd to push them over the top. Hopefully the crowds will pick up when the semester starts.
This is an Ole Miss team that is better than their record I think. They are just missing that oomph to get them over the hill. Good luck to you guys going forward.
