I didn't get to watch, but I listened, and It sounded like the 1st half did us in. I liked the fight they showed after being down 23 on the road. Wade played great, Qualls had a very nice homecoming, Powell finally stayed out of foul trouble on the road and posted 17 and 8.
BJ Young is slumping bad right now. 7 points in 2 games combined isn't going to cut it, especially on the road. He continues his free fall in the NBA Mocks. I'm fully expecting him to return next year if he keeps this up.

That may have something to do with posters being at the game then coming home and posting in the thread...

WPS, I'll be surprised if BJ is eligible next year if he even wants to come back. Rumor is he's not on track with his degree progress and hasn't cared to fix it.
I think he'll be lucky to get on in the D league as he looks lately.

I wouldn't be shocked, his knock coming out of HS was his commitment to classes.
Frankly, I wouldn't be upset if he left. I'm tired of seeing him hotdog in the lane with the spin move and turn it over or shoot a bad shot. Tonight, down 5 with about 2 minutes left and we had the entire shot clock and he launches a bad three from about 25 feet. Stupid stuff.
I'm ready for Qualls, Williams, Harris, Kingsley, Portis and Clarke to terrorize people next year.

This year has sucked on the road, but if you compare to last year Mike Anderson has us heading in the right direction. We are better than last year by a good bit.
Inside presence will be much better next year.
Hope Wade gets his stroke back and Bell continues to hit from outside so folks can't just pack in a zone most of the game.
Hawgball is on it's way back.

So an even worse road record (.10) than last years horrible record is an improvement? Do you really have confidence they will improve that effort next year with say maybe, 2 or 3 wins on the road?

Despite our miserable rpad record, overall, progress was made. We faded horribly down the stretch last year, have actually won a few down the same stretch this year. You have to look closely, but overall improvement is there.
