Except they don't play with any effort or heart. They are pansies. Getting beat this badly by a team like USCe is on the coaching staff. We have so much more talent than them its not even funny. I hope I'm wrong but its not looking like CMA is going to work out here either. On to the next coach.

This team isn't that awful, overall. Don't get me wrong, they aren't a tourney team, but I've seen much worse.
And I do think we've improved (despite how this game is going). We handle zone D much better than we did early in the year. Better ball movement and positioning.
We just still suck on the road.

They're bi-polar as can be.
Consistency is the what makes great teams great. The Nolan teams in the heyday, you knew what was going to happen everytime they opening tip went in the air.
No one knows what this team is going to do. Alandise Harris would have made the world of difference for them. We have no third option, and the first 2 options are just kinda doing their own thing. I don't see much team play, and their basketball IQ seems to really be lacking. I sucked and sucked horrible, but I knew how to get open, and where to be when I didn't have the ball and where to go depending on where the ball was going.
I think they give a decent effort except against A&M where Mickelson got pummeled and Powell just didn't want none so he fouled and played like shite.

They seem to play head up their arse ball on the road, there's no way hostile crowds can intimidate a team into playing as hot and cold as this team does.

People need to quit comparing this team to those teams, except for Powell and BJ all of the players Pel recruited were roll players at best, all the teams Nolan had in the heyday had McDonald's All-Americans on the roster, this team doesn't have that, they also had shooters, this team doesn't have that...

We haven't had good teams since the year they picked to start the count, 2003, only a handful of tournament teams, 3 head coaches in that time frame.
