Yes. But it’s also a true statement. In the scenario of Texas being 9-2 and gunning for a playoff spot against an 11-0 A&M… That would be the biggest matchup between those two programs in history.

Maybe, maybe not. Pre-season rankings bias is just a fact of life. Also, considering Ohio St and Indiana made the playoffs last year, they have that prior year bump.
There is more ball to be played and more time for movement. So I don’t think you’ll see too much griping about it.

When A&M left the Big 12, they wanted to continue the rivalry game. UTrans AD DeLoss Dodds was so butt hurt that he refused to continue the rivalry. He was one huge arrogant pussy. He also told all of the other Big 12 schools to refuse to schedule games with A&M.
