I like both of them. Aggies, though at time a bit obnoxious, are generally good folks. And other than a few folks, they've got some good posters here.
The Mizzou folks came on a bit strong at first, but have now been humbled a bit by the SEC reality they are facing.
And they both help conference academic standing.

Welcome Back, MizzouSEC2012......! Honestly, would not have responded to this thread, if I had not seen your name as last poster. But since I'm here:
Of course I'm pleased that Mizzou has joined the SEC. I think it is silly for some to opine that we our a cultural misfit. That is just plain lame. The rules of the game don't change from region to region, no matter what the people eat, drink or drive (or call those things.) Fans of any university support and cheer for their teams. It is easy to be a fan during a winnining season. TRUE FANS stick around through thick and thin!
If there is any difference between Mizzou fans and the rest of the SEC fan base, it might be that we are equally crazed about football and basketball.

No offense to A&M and Missouri, A&M is a good football team and will get better but they aren't in the Southeast. They geographically belong in the Big 12. I wish we had gotten 2 of Georgia Tech, Clemson and FSU. Location-wise they made sense and they have existing rivalries in the SEC.

Don't put it on a tee for them... do you really think we are like Bama, UGA, LSU, and all these rabid fan bases? We're not at that level.
Have you not seen the stories about people ditching their air plane in a field and hitch hiked to the game, 100's of jets, RVs galore.. we aren't in that realm.
And again don't set it up on a tee "TRUE FANS stick around through thick and thing" - how do you explain the 11 people that stuck around for the Bama game.

The SEC is a results oriented Conference. If you win and are in the South you belong. That's all that matters.

A&M is okay. Mizzou blows. FSU is too chicken shite to play with the big boys.

I'm fine with it but now we really need 2 more teams to balance the divisions. We need to add a team from N.C. and Virginia; maybe N.C. St. and VT. FSU would be cool but I'm sure the Gators don't want another Florida team.

Funny, when talking about aTm football one needs to look at it from a historical perspective to see the full picture. However with BB apparently one only needs to see the last few years to see how much better they are then Mizzou historically.
