There is nothing that proves that Lacy or Yeldon is better than Hilliard( who shares carries with 5 backs) and supposedly Yeldon and Lacy have the best qb in the sec to draw defenses to. So which is it

AJ's O-line is awesome. Anyone that has that much time to throw a football can be perceived as awesome. He is pretty much camping out at his own leisure in the pocket.

Hilliard may very well be better than an Eddie Lacy who is playing at about 85% right now thanks to injuries and playing against better teams than Hilliard has. Yeldon is a true Freshman. We're doing two RBs before garbage time, LSU is using more, though Blue/Hilliard are getting the most of the carries.
Who cares right now? We'll wait until Hilliard plays a team someone has heard about.

Our #5 back had 57 yards and averaged 9.5 yards per carry with a touchdown.

While Yeldon may end up being better, as of right now Hilliard leads him in every category while sharing more carries. Nothing says Yeldon is better other than your bias. Also doesn't Yeldon have the SEC's Best qb to take pressure off the run game? Cant have safeties creeping up with MCCANNON back there throwing darts.
