And no QB could win the Heisman for this team. You just can't put up the numbers when you have a great running game and most games are over by the midway point of the third quarter.
You and Capstone have hit the mark. AJ seems to have kept the level he had in bowl game and improved but when the game is over at the half it will be hard to shine. In the end Wilson will have much bigger numbers, especially with that D. He's going to be throwing a lot. There's actually a lot of good QB's in this league. The A&M kid, Driskell, Bray, both the Mississippi QB's. In fact, top to bottom, I'd say our league has best QB's in nation at this point. It's just it still September

He had an amazing showing in the BCS title game, but again most people pointed to the running game.
I said he took a step up in bowl and the question is will he maintain/improve (on ESPN blog in January). I'd say he is doing quite well.

LOL, Wilson on our team wouldn't be able to put up the numbers to be a Heisman finalist. No chance.
Not true. This is the most talented Bama wr corp, even better than when Julio was a junior.

I still think Wilson's the best QB in the SEC but he could be hurt by how bad his team is. Regardless, McCarron's underrated by many on here.
Yes. It's a shame TWilson and Knile have to play behind a 4 A LA high school oline.

He was avg last year. He threw 16 TDs and 6 came against Auburn and a scrub.

How would he be able to put up the numbers? No chance. As well as AJ's played he he's averaged like 200 yards per game so far, and that's with a lot of big plays.
Blow out, blow out, blow out, etc. No QB could put up huge numbers on this team. It's just not possible.

It's pretty obvious to anyone who doesn't watch only soccer on saturdays that AJ is clearly the #1 Qb in the SEC.

I mean he does have all damn day to throw the ball. A lot of mediocre QB's would look awesome with Alabama's Offensive line. Granted. AJ is really good.

You hate me , cause you ain't me. It's a common thing around these parts. You know ,with me being genetically superior , and all.

One of them is hurt, the other is not.

McCarron is easily in the top four in the SEC currently. And that's all he needs to be in order for this team to be great.
Murray has to do more for his team than McCarron or Mett, the talent around those two at present calls for those two to simply protect the ball, make good decisions and get theball to their playmakers. Murray has to do more for his team to compete near the same level.
Comparing season stats at week three is stupid.
THIS

Mccarron. 26 touchdowns 5 interceptions
Wilson. 36 touchdowns 14 interceptions
1 loss for mccarron, a lot more for Wilson. Higher completion percentage, national champion, yadda yadda yadda.
What's laughable are those that are terrified to admit mccarron is just as good physically, and makes much better decisions with the ball than Wilson. Let the Bama hatred flow though
