I’m talking about 6-6 and 7-5 teams playing each other you retards.

You mean like the pinstripe bowl (Penn State vs Clemson last year)?
I guess in theory things like that can hang around, but I don't see the point. Most starters would opt out, the viewing will be abysmal, the stadium will be empty, and I think both schools would take a loss on expenses vs bowl payout.
Like someone else said the MAC and Sunbelt bowls may survive as long as they're reasonably close for travel.
There may be things for 8-4 P4 teams, again nearby (Texas Bowl for Big 12, etc). But a 24 team field means most ranked teams are in the playoff.

So what do we do for entertainment? College basketball kinda stinks. I don’t know what else to do. College football definitely is going down the tubes, though.

I almost want to just watch the G5 teams because at least those still feel like traditional football aside from the transferring out part.

Bowl games are still 4 hour blocks of TV time that more people watch than most other crap on cable. The sponsorships are also valuable.
Bowl games aren't going anywhere.
